I canât fault this place for a very special night. The atmosphere and surroundings are wonderful. The menu has several great choices. My group of 6 all ordered seafood appetisers and steaks- each one was beautifully presented and the different steaks were all perfectly cooked and very tasty. The side dishes are great. We did not have room for desert. The wine menu is very extensive and the sommelier was very knowledgeable

Went for breakfast with friends. Asked for 3 eggs, 1 scrambled, 2 over medium. Waitress refused saying they won't do that, and management told them not to take orders like this. Huh? Said she would check with the cook. Came back said he won't do it because it's too busy!! I always go with 6-8 friends, and two weeks ago they made this order. What gives, all of a sudden an extra egg is to much to make for a customer??? Couldn't believe an extra egg was REFUSED, even though I'm paying for it. Will go to elsewhere from now on.

My wife is a vegan but I'm an omnivore. While visiting Philly we made an early dinner reservation for a long-awaited visit to this fabulous restaurant. Neither of us were disappointed. The atmosphere was great... a converted old brownstone with small rooms. The service was impeccable with a knowledgeable wait staff and beautiful presentation of each dish by ingredient as shown in the pictures below.I can't even remember what we ordered but everything was amazing. best of all, each dish was unique... no faux "burgers" or "mac and cheese", just super fresh, flavorful vegetables each prepared with a distinctive sauce. As a non-Vegan I left full and very happy. I can highly recommend Vedge to anyone!

Born out of Robert & Raquel DeAbreu's desire to create a comfortable, welcoming place that served great food at great prices; Sabrinaâs Café opened in 2001 serving up now infamous staples like Stuffed Challah French Toast, The Barking Chihuahua, and their
Sabrina's in Wynnewood has become our favored go-to breakfast spot during our visits to the Philly area the past two Summers. This month we visited three times. It is consistency well cooked egg dishes and excellent service. This years favorites for my wife were the create-your-own-omlets, and for me the huevos rancheros and the 2 eggs with scrapple. The potatoes are excellent.

Once called "the most genteel tavern in America" by John Adams and the first unofficial "White House," Chef Walter Staib's City Tavern has boasted the finest celebrations since 1773. With over 230 years of hospitality, City Tavern has been the centerpiece
Everyone has already remarked on the atmosphere, so I'll spare you. The food was very good - we had the pork loin medallions. Bread was interesting, but I wouldn't buy a loaf on purpose. If I had to pay full price I would have felt ripped off, but we had a 1/2 off coupon that you can get at the Independence Visitor's Center. Minimum $20 for an entree for lunch is a little rich for my blood. I guess we didn't look rich, either, because we felt like we were tolerated by the staff, not welcomed. It was an experience but we won't be back. Be sure to get the coupon!!

What a great hotel property to stay at and the restaurant has proven to be a steady winner. If the river park is open save room for dessert right outside the front door. The staff is super friendly, remember what you like to have, and add a level of comfort. Live music often and within walking distance to Old City.Thank you for taking a moment to share your review with us. We are thrilled you were impressed by our restaurant, and the Spruce Street Harbor Park! I am especially glad you found our staff friendly and accommodating. It was a pleasure to host you at the Keating's Rope & Anchor Bar + Kitchen, and we look forward to the opportunity to do so again in the future!

Behind the wrought iron gate, past the herbaceous patio and through the atrium is Talula's Garden, the warm and elegant Washington Square eatery from Aimee Olexy and Starr Restaurants. The modern menu, prepared with carefully-sourced ingredients and a lig
Very nice, upscale American cuisine restaurant with large (heated) outdoor dining area. The staff was very knowlegdable and accommodating to my wife's VEGAN diet and each dish was beautifully presented and described by ingredients. Gracious service.A bit noisy and crowded (on a Friday night) so reservations are a must.

Really a nice meal here. Went for my 10th wedding anniversary and was impressed. The shrimp cocktail was great with colossal sized shrimp, the baked clams were some of the best around with a huge piece of thick cut bacon topping each one, French onion soup that was delicious, my wife's filet was cooked exactly the way she ordered and likes it, my ribeye was nice, sauteed mushrooms were yummy, and bourbon pecan pie was a great way to finish. The prices are extremely reasonable for a steakhouse. Will be back

To look at the menu you would think this was a pretty expensive place to have a sandwich in Philadelphia, but all of the servings are huge. People commonly share, or take home plenty for another meal. This is the only place I would have a corned beef sandwich in Philadelphia but I would have to split it since corned beef is best right out of the kitchen. Same for the French Toast; great but tons of food. I saw some people JUST come for the dessert, which seems like a good idea.

Run, I'm serious, run to get a meal here. We started our meal with mussels. My husband had the spicy red sauced mussels and I had the Thai mussels ... why did I wait so long to try these??? Succulent mussels that were a little bit sweet and a little bit spicy ... so, so flavorful. I had to force myself not to eat an entire bread basket sopping up that yummy broth. Entrees were a halibut special over risotto for him and perfectly cooked flounder francaise for me. My meal was served over wasabi mashed potatoes (at my request) and asparagus. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. If I had one negative comment is would be to encourage Max's to serve a crustier bread; what was served was a hoagie roll.
