This is like the geriatric, coffee-drinking hangout of the town. However, I give them high marks because they have the tastiest and most-affordable biscuits and gravy in town. Plus they carry Gering Bakery doughnuts and rolls.

Sam & Louieâs is a casual Italian restaurant that is all about family & fun! We offer made from scratch and made to order New York style pizza, pastas, salads, burgers, calzones, strombolis and more. We also offer wine and a variety of craft beer on tap.
They have pizza, sandwiches, salads and pasta. My friend loves all their food. This was the first time I have eaten there. For their pasta, they have a choice of pasta, sauce and meat. I tried the cheese ravioli with garlic parmesean butter sauce and shrimp. It was amazing! We are so happy you had such a great experience during your visit! Thank you for the feedback and for your business!

Had one of their specialty burgers with fries. Once I saw the burger, I immediately took the top bun off and yet, with the âhaystackâ of fries, I was unable to finish the burger. The fries are quite remarkable as they are lightly breaded and extra crispy. Very tasty

Not your typical golf course clubhouse. Quite a variety of steaks, pasta, salads, burgers and sandwiches. The Steak Oscar was AMAZING!! And the pizzas are unique and tasty - try the Prime Rib pizza or the Valhalla. The view is incredible, the staff are friendly and the drink prices are reasonable. A regular night out destination for me!!

I grew up close to this area and don't ever remember visiting over those 10+ years. Both my parents claimed to have been there years ago. I am not sure if the Owners have always been the same. When I happened to be in the area the other day we tried it out. To my surprise it was better than expected. A very small place with about 10 tables. Very much a locals & regulars type of place. Medium sized menu with lots of options & a lunch special. On which the day we went was Chicken Fried Steak; unfortunately was out when we dined in at 1pm. I take that as a good sign. Food was excellent. Cheeseburger plain with curly fries. Burger was juicy & very well prepared. We also had the Mushroom Swiss Burger & Reuben. We were served cake at the end of our meal. Also really good even though we were really full from the meals. To me the location is a bit off the beaten path. Easily missed if your not looking for it.

This was a very nice little restaurant with a Western feel. Everyone was very friendly and the food was good. I came with my family including two small children and no problems. 4 out of 5 only because there was not a ton of options available on the menu.Thank you for visiting us! Iâm sorry that with over 40 menu options you didnât find the option you were looking for. We appreciate your input.

Good food and drink thought table and chairs leave something to be desired. Had a good steak dinner and a couple of drinks during a business meeting. All was pretty good except the homemade chairs and tables which appeared to be made out of 2x6 lumber. So other than hard seat it has good food and atmosphere. Would recommend

Stopped in for lunch. Basically a bar with food. Not that that is a bad thing, just setting the expectations. Beer list was kinda small. Menu had typical pub fair. Daily special was shrimp tacos. Ordered them and the brisket tacos. Shrimp were deep fried. Brisket could have been chopped into smaller pieces (brisket can be tough to bite through). Things were tasty however. Nice bartender, very helpful.

The Mixing Bowl was created to fulfill a desire to provide the Gering Valley with home cooked yet elevated food. Inspired by Midwest German cuisine, Chef Jamie offers a menu specializing in home cooked food just like Grandma used to make, while also offer
Based on recommendations from the locals, we visited this restaurant for lunch. During the week they have a regular menu, but we were here on a Saturday and they have a weekend brunch menu. We both had a rancheros burrito which had chorizo, eggs, chicken, hashbrowns, avocado, (I believe sausage) and cheese, covered in a really good, but mild, green chili sauce. The burrito was very large and very good. Service was excellent. We'd come back again if in the area.
