Things to do in Geneseo
Maybe the sandwiches are good I havenât tried them. Geneseo really needs a good deli. Fareway and Save A Lot donât cut it. I was looking for high quality cold cuts and was more than willing to pay but the turkey was mushy and the ham average. Didnât go back for a month or so and tried the chicken and potato salad. Bad. Shredded chicken overwhelmed with mayo. Mushy potato salad. The seafood salad also was average. Maybe not enough demand fir high quality. Maybe the sandwiches are great - I donât know. I just want a deli close that is at the least, as good as HyVee.

Stopped for lunch on Veteran's Day during travel from Iowa to Northwest Indiana. Ordered lunch and asked if there was a military discount. When they learned I was a veteran and they said, "your lunch is free." I was really impressed and will definitely visit other Hardee's after this experience. My hamburger was one of the best. The facility was clean and the staff very friendly. Great customer experience!!
I've stopped here at the Genesso Subway when traveling to Iowa. Easy & on and Off from Interstate 80. Fairly new construction (within 7 years). Clean facility. Service was fine. My usually stopping time is early morning. Never experienced any crowds at that time.Sandwiches are made just right and not really over stuffed so that they rip open the back of the bun.You have to drive all the way around the strip mall building to enter the drive up window. A Culver's is now built off to the right which wasn't there on my last visit.Nov 11, 2016

All 3 of my kids have worked here. A lot of people like their pizza. I like their tacos and subs. They serve pizza, Italian pastas, subs, beefs, tacos, chicken, shrimp. The flavors change daily. Things have changed (not always for the better) since Sam died but it is a quite dinner.

We came early (we are in our 60's) because the "Trivia Night" started at 7:00 and we wanted to be out of there to miss the crowd. I love their beers especially the Yep Yep IPA. My wife's Martini was so so. Average. We both had flat breads which were delicious. I had the Taco Flat Bread and she had the Pulled Pork. Awesome. The waitress was average. The restrooms are spotless and modern. This is a very comfortable place to go for a good meal and drinks.

The restaurant is small and quaint. The menu is small. They definitely have the small town dinning feel. The server was nice and knowledgeable! My husband got the French toast banana bread. It was very good but he would of liked more than just two slices. The biscuit and gravy was not bad but my eggs were runny to the point where my biscuit was soggy. Iâll probably go back but Iâll have to eat something different than eggs!

Stopped here with reservation for 5 people. The place was packed. Very comfortable and enjoyable sports bar and grill. We had sandwiches, salads, appetizers and beer of all types. I cannot give it a 5 but a definite 4 based on my food and the response from everyone in the group. The fired mushrooms were a bit greasy. Other than that all very good including chicken sandwich, hamburger, chef salad with crispy chicken.

We both just had a beer and sandwich (including a side salad) and my wife and I looked around and could not believe this type of place is not packed. It would go toe to toe with the best sports bars in a big city. The food is NOT typical bar food and the craft beer is fantastic. We both had a grilled tenderloin and loved them.Service a five as well. My bill was $36.26 before tip.

Sweet Peas Grill & Bar in Geneseo, Illinois creates fresh, flavorful dishes with you in mind! We are conveniently located just off Interstate 80 (about 19 miles east of the Quad Cities). We are a great choice for those traveling on Interstate 80 as well a
Our group of 15 meet here a couple of times per year in room built for such occasions. The waitress kept good track of our orders and separate billings. The manager even came in and checked on us during our visit. The food choices are varied and excellent which makes it hard to choose. Excellent!

Elevator available at street level. Good food and good service. A bit pricey other than the specials but still, very good food and service. Tables are close together so can get a bit noisy with chatter, but it's a very popular restaurant and reservations are necessary for weekends especially.
