A group of us decided to have dinner one evening. Service was slow, and food was OK. Was out of an item on the menu, and after waiting for 30 minutes for our food, finally was told that they were out of this item. Waitress brought out a round of drinks, and no one had requested it. She also messed up on my bill, undercharged me. I brought it to her attention and it was corrected. I paid by credit card to include $3 tip on a food/drink total of $13.55. That is more than 20%. When I received my credit card bill, the charge on it was $18.55, and not $16.55. Attempted many, many times to get a refund from the restaurant to no avail. Requested to talk to the owner, of which our name and phone number was left at the restaurant. He never did contact us. Never did get the money back from the restaurant. Buyer beware using a credit card at this eating establishment. You will not get the difference back.

The coffee here is undeniably outstanding. The service is even better, but this seems to be in keeping with the high standards of the entire community. I love this place.

Took colleagues to Fortville for dinner. We shared escargot and a shrimp toast as appetizers. 2 in the party had the Red Drum fish special, 1 had a beef filet an I had a ribrye. Dinner was done to perfection; substitutions happily accommodated. We split apple and pecan pie--made by the chef's mother! A bottle of wine was the perfect accompaniment for a delightful meal and evening.
Everything you've come to expect in a family owned and operated restaurant is right here. Great food, small town prices, friendly atmosphere, and prompt service. I don't want that first item - GREAT food - to get lost in the shuffle. I've recently discovered this place and have returned because of the food. The broasted chicken is simply delicious, moist, piping hot, and crisp. My last visit was for lunch. They offer a $5.50 lunch menu which is limited in scope to about 7 or 8 items but represents an outstanding value for a quick meal of high quality. I ordered the 1/2 portion of breaded tenderloin and it still hung over the edges of my full sized bun by at least an inch all around. It came with crinkle cut french fries. This place is the real deal, folks.

Lincoln Square is our go to restaurant for breakfast or lunch. I used to come more for breakfast and order the Lincoln Skillet---2 eggs on hash browns, pancakes, ham, onions, peppers with a covering of sausage gravy for $8.99. For lunch I get a breaded tenderloin (one bigger than the bun types), salad, potato wedges. I take half of my tenderloin and wedges home. There's that much of the goodness left over. I forgot my extra carton on the table today, so I'm sad. ) 8

Loved our dinner the other night! We enjoyed the escargot, the broiled Parmesan oysters for starters. Fish Tacos and Filet for entrees, and took some delicious homemade apple pie home for dessert! The filet was cooked just right, and my hubby is pretty particular about how his steak is prepared! The fish tacos were full of flavor, loved the sauce. The service was top notch... friendly, attentive.
