Had a really nice dinner with some colleagues tonight. The menu had great options for a variety of people. The prices were decent and portion sizes were filling. Few notes:Host Service: quick and accommodating. Atmosphere: clean and open. Two floors for dinning. Decor was mixed between modern and dated furniture. Had a nice view of downtown from upstairs. Wait service: Attentive, quick and always kept the glasses full. Knew the menu and kept us updated on the kitchen. Food: I had a salad with grilled chicken. House dressing is a thick balsamic (very tasty). Fried ice cream was delicious. Overall experience was nice and I would definitely go back while in town.

Very good family friendly eatery, expect good portions of homestyle cooking. They do a really nice job with Gluten free options all fried food is available. Service was perfunctory not exemplary but as expected.all in all a nice stop. I had scallops my only suggestion that the cook should remove the small side muscle before cooking as it is undigestible.the Hot turkey sandwich my wife had would have been helped if the Texas toast had been toasted first it was very mushy

We ate pizza here twice while staying in Ft, Kent. The 1st pizza we had delivered, which was delivered quickly and was still hot. The second one we picked up and enjoyed the atmosphere. My family is considered pizza foodies because I make all of our pizza's from scratch, including the dough, sauce and even the cheese. The MooseShack II pizza was a pleasant surprise and we enjoyed it very much!

Famous for poutine
As you cross the boarder from Canada the first place you see is Rockâs dinner and the start of Route 1 south to the Florida Keys. This is your typical North American diner serving good quality food in a clean friendly environment. The staff are use to travellers starting out down route one and even have tee shirts for sale with a map on the back to help you on your way. They even sell the famous Maine Whoopy Pie, well worth eating especially if you have a sweet tooth. Lots of local historical photographs on the walls.

Located in the heart of downtown Fort Kent, Walker's Pub has your food and drink. From sauteed seafood and raw bar to the best flatbreads and soft tacos around, you won't be disappointed. Whether you fancy whiling away an afternoon with a good book and a
I came here to have a light supper. I think this place is relatively new, but I'm not sure. I sat at the bar and ordered a glass of ale. What impacted me the most is the level of noise in there. I could hardly hear what the bartender was saying to me. I ordered a half dozen oysters on the half shell, and they were nice and big, fresh and very good. I then got the bartenders attention and ordered a cheese pizza. I have to say that the menu is EXTREMELY limited. The pizza came out after about 30 minutes, and it was not as good as some frozen pizza's I've had (that should give you an idea of how good it was not). I ended up giving most of it to the couple sitting next to me. They did not care for it at all.The bottom line here is: I would only go here again if I wanted some ale.Sorry Peter R. We had only been open for the second week and we were still figuring the operations out. Joy and I would love to have you come back as the pub is running well. We have draft beers from all across New England and we strive to do the best for patrons and the food has many great reviews. Thank you for your business and hope to see you again.
