Every time I visit I enjoy myself with delicious food, wonderful beverages and great company. Service was less than stellar on this particular visit. so 2 stars for this visit. I donât know if itâs because there were two female bartenders and my friend and I are two females but their desire to serve us as bar patrons was slower than usual and it was before 5.

Ate here on a recommendation of a car salesman. I'm glad I took his advice. The food was great, portions were large and all was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Steelfish Grille to anyone looking for some good food. The Cream of Crab soup may possibly be the best I've ever had!
The staff acted as though I was bothering them. They were so busy on their cell phones and talking about boys they knew...

Wild Tomato American Kitchen opened recently. I found the place inviting, sort of like a family pub, with multiple beer, cider and wine choices. The dinner choices are divided by the part of the country, East, Mid, or West, which is a little unusual. My wife and I shared a (mid-country) Detroit Pan Pizza, a 14" rectangular pizza that also included cheddar besides the usual cheese. There was plenty of cheese and sauce included, and I thought the pizza was pretty good. My wife prefers a doughy type crust, but this one was crunchy. Our server, Caty, who did a good job, let us know that we can request a doughy crust--just ask when you order.I liked it enough to want to return. I think the prices are moderate.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday night, hoping to take advantage of the Tuesday/Wednesday night half-price wine and the 3-course prix fixe dinner offerings. We were very impressed with both. The food is elegantly prepared and served. Very interesting and imaginative concepts. The service was unobtrusive but always at the ready. And all were charming. Can't wait to get back there!

This was our first visit to Hickory Lodge. Driving by at other times, place seemed crowded. My family took me in on Sunday for Fathers Day. Well, you would think they would expect families to visit for a Sunday morning with their father for Fathers Day. Lots of teens (women or girls, not sure) in tight short, shorts and tight tops (ironic that they have dress code and rules for customers posted outside on sign as you enter). Not what I would expect at that time of day. More like a cheap night club atmosphere. Music was blasting some Ebonics type nonsense, rap/club hybrid music probably popular to a young person with no morals or direction in life. Maybe thatâs the type of people that the restaurant caters too, I donât know. Waitress was ok, not too friendly but she wasnât neglectful in serving us either. Didnât tell us her name so, not sure. She did her job so, she got a tip despite our bad experience. Now for the food. Rockfish bites were very enjoyable. The flavors were put together nicely with the sauce they provided. So I was excited to get to the entree. Well, my prime rib was not as thick as I expected. I should not have assumed it was the big chunk of meat slow roasted at most restaurants that offer prime rib. I ordered medium well and it came out well done and burnt on outside. It would have been rather dry if they hadnât covered it some kind of sauce that tasted like soy or teriyaki. Almost seemed like Chinese food. Not impressed. The flavor of the steak was not there. Even if it were medium well, I wouldnât taste anything but that teriyaki/ soy sauce like topping. Green beans were bland. They seemed firm and lightly crisp, cooked well but had no accented seasoning. The kids will eats anything so, they didnât have any gripes about their food. Wife got a chicken dish and liked it. It was good. It had sauce and seasoning but nothing to make it good restaurant food. More like a gourmet Dennyâs. Place was fairly clean, nice decor, booths were excellent for big groups or families. Didnât see the restrooms so, canât comment on their condition. Looked like a prime spot at first but, itâs just an average place. Changing the chefs quality standards, teaching staff customer service, and putting some clothes on those waitresses, would probably make The Lodge the best place around. Iâm originally from Baltimore and from my experience, Harford County has very little to offer as far as good food. This place has potential.

I have been living in Harford County for over 20 years and a few years back I found a hidden gem. Tamberinos located in Hickory section of Harford county is nothing fancy but has great food and friendly service. Without a doubt the best cheesesteak around and pretty good pizza too. Dine in or carry out. They are closed on Sundays.

This is a restaurant from yesteryear. Comfort and Maryland seafood are the mainstays here. The service is friendly and attentive. The portions of huge. I had seafood platter and could not eat it in one sitting. Fresh seafood that was seasoned in the Maryland tradition; ie., breaded and old bay. If you happen to be in this area, this is a good place to dine.

This was our first visit here but definitely not our last. My husband had the chicken parmesan. It came with a fresh salad. The portion was huge. He brought half of it home. I had a cup of the Maryland crab soup. Absolutely delicious! It was loaded with chucks of crab meat and seasoned perfectly. I also had a Caesar salad...wonderful Caesar dressing, and the crab imperial. Again, huge chucks of crab meat in a tasty cream sauce. Our server was wonderful, efficient and attentive. Can't wait to go back.

Today was the first time we visited but we will be back. There is plenty of outdoor seating, but even with folks passing through on the sidewalk it does not feel cramped. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The menu is pretty well rounded and everyone quickly found something. 4 full breakfast meals cost us less than going to a chain for brunch and with much better quality. We had omelettes and crepes, all perfectly cooked. The chicken cordon bleu crepe was huge and stuffed with chicken. The breakfast crepe was equally stuffed with sausage. The omelettes were not greasy at all. Pleasant and prompt!
