Don't be turned off by the location attached to a gas station - this diner is the real deal. The waitresses here were incredibly friendly despite being overwhelmed with multiple large groups arriving at once. The retro decor was fun. But most importantly the food was excellent. Try the huge pork burrito smothered in green chili! Burgers, dogs, french dip, walking tacos all excellent.thank you so very much. we hope to see you again . don

We stopped here for lunch, 3 of us got burgers and 1 got a philly cheese steak. The burgers were big and cook perfectly and the philly cheese steak was delicious. He said it was slightly over cooked but the taste was great. The people were very friendly and the restaurant was very neat. Weâd eat here again for sure.

Stopped by here on our way out of town. We just visited the cafe part of this restaurant for a quick coffee and grabbed a slice of cheescake. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They do offer almond milk and other alternatives which was a plus for me. It looked like a great local hotspot.

My wife and I have visited this location about 5 times, moving to Canon City, in the last two weeks and found it pleasant, clean, and inviting. The service was always quick and friendly. The breakfast(s) we always ordered were prepared as requested and served hot and delicious. The prices are, of course, always appropriate. Will be back.

Had a nice lunch yesterday at Chili's... but... Since the new queso burger does not come with onion I asked for some onion... The waitress came back withe 3 little rings... Not a slice but rings... So I asked for a few more... When she came back she said the manager said if I wanted more onion they would have to charge us for it... Oh yes the second plate also at 3-4 rings again... When we were getting ready to leave the person hosting us to lunch wanted to talk with the manager. He came out and said "what's the oroblem"...we asked ".how much does an onion cidt". Hecarried on to explain that they had to watch product sakes and had to charge since he gave me three extra servings of onions... Remember it was two... And around 6-7 whole rings... He went on to say the sandwich did not come with onions so he was accommodating to give us some onion... During the whole conversation he never said I'm sorry" he continued to defend his decision. We asked for his card and cut off the conversation... That manager needs some training in Good customer service... Chili's be aware... Your canon city manager is not like JJ the old manager... Stopped in just as a way to get a quick bite before a rafting trip for kids who like pizza.Upon walking in the unique decor caught our eye and gave my kids something to talk about.Once we ordered and got our food we dug into large portions and good quality pizzas (and a chef salad with A LOT of meat). The price was reasonable, the wait staff was friendly and attentive and the time to get our food was pretty fast. Even when it got crowded quickly, we got refills, boxes and our check as soon as we asked for them.I would recommend.

All of the food is very fresh, including salad, with large portions. Applewood-smoked meat is very, very delicious and tender. Luncheon specials are SPECIAL! And terrific breakfasts are served all day (I think). Now they are open until 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. With the wonderfully friendly fast service, itâs always such a pleasure to dine here!

I had a great breakfast! I was dithering between the chicken fried steak and the green chili omelet so the waitress suggested the chicken fried steak skillet. Great choice! The steak was diced and on a layer of diced fried potatoes, covered in cheese and topped with a couple of eggs. Wasn't sure I could finish it all but I managed.I will go back and get the green chili omelet!

The best steak ever. Cooked to perfection. They have added another area since our last visit. The new seating room is so nice. Very spacious and quiet. Very comfortable booths and tables. Our meal was just perfect. Fresh crisp salad, fresh bread, baked potato (so good), and a wonderful steak. Offering one dish and do it well is what I would call this place. Delicious.
