GROW is an all day breakfast and lunch cafe serving from scratch fare with menu items that are twists on classic diner fare.
Loved our fresh and healthy brunch here on our weekend trip. They had $5 mimosas that looked tempting but we didn't want to indulge today having had enough libations the day/eve before...2 of us loved our Fish Tacos perfectly made with trout, 1 had Grow Slam breakfast & another Simple breakfast. Hit the spot, bulls eye. It's located across the lovely lake and near many cute shops to walk it off afterwards. Great find :)

Being unfamiliar with the charming town of Saugatuck, I met a friend for dinner at Phil's Bar & Grille because of its high rating by TripAdvisor reviewers. The restaurant, apparently located in a building which previously was a movie theater, had a certain design charm. On a week night in mid-October it was quite busy. Staff was cordial and helpful. However, my salmon entree was both unremarkable and forgettable.

Bowdies Chophouse specializes in Usda prime beef, dry aged to perfection, reservation are recommended, Bowdies is a quaint restaurant with limited seating in the winter months, outdoor dining in the summer months. Because of the size and proximity of the
We visited last year and had a great dinner - this yearâs visit was every bit as good. We had a reservation and everything was ready when we arrived. Great food, great service, and a great table. Every aspect of the meal was perfect ( especially the cowboy steak ).

Casual Dining with an Incredible Atmosphere. A One of a Kind West Michigan Restaurant with a Fantastic Fusion of Italian, French, Asian and American Cuisine.
We wanted to try something off the beaten strip of Saugatuck. Fantastic outdoor seating, very clean, and scenic. No water view but still nice. Iâm from Chicago so very picky on pizza, but they have a thin oven roasted thatâs different and good. One size, which is enough for family with one small child. Any more people would require multiple pizzas. Theyâre appetizers are on the fancy side and donât disappoint. Unfortunately I didnât try other entries but they look good, and wouldnât just consider this a pizza restaurant. It fits in well with the high end lake appearance of downtown Douglas. Free street parking is easy to find, so shooting right back to Saugatuck is no problem.

Went for dinner while in town for the weekend. Wife had a wonderful eggplant dish to satisfy her vegetarian needs. Or was it the espresso martini??? I had an amazing burger you would have to see to believe. Reasonably priced for the area. Would definitely recommend as a stop while in town or nearby Saugatuck.

We stumbled across this adorable restaurant/shop and fell in love. The fresh ingredients and specialty sandwiches were delicious. The samples of soup and appetizers were an added perk! Our kids and my parents all found exactly what they wanted and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. The pastrami was our family favorite!

It's been a long time since we've had such a disappointing dining experience. Happened to stop here on our way to the beach last night, opting for quicker meal and better chances of finding something my 9 year old would enjoy, over more "sit-down" restaurant option next door. 3 guys drinking at bar. one other table of people for food. one waitress, who was also pouring the beer. She did not act like she was all that excited to be there. not too many minutes later, we were not, either. My wife's Fish taco - one frozen fish finger, tossed in fryer. to it, add a spoonful of Gordon's Food Service cole slaw. The end. WTF?So I was just as thrilled when my four "Pretty big" pieces of... fish fingers showed up, with a handful of obviously from-the-freezer French fries. for $14.00.And it took quite awhile to get these tasty treats, after ordering, especially considering there was only one other table ordering food, and considering that they DON'T ACTUALLY MAKE THEIR OWN FOOD!!!!!!!! How ridiculous is this place? One of their appetizers, pretzel nuggets, basically, are advertised at the table with a little placard. Which was actually just a piece of the box they came in from the food service company, quickly cut out. You could see the scissor marks around the edges. Only thing that made the experience less than a total disaster, is that my daughter's calzone was not terrible. as they're made to order, we at least were confident it did not come out of a box. It's possible that the crust did, and the sauce probably came from a jar, but put together and actually baked, it was ok. We wished we had decided to just skip dinner, instead. Judging from the reviews, our experience was not unique to this place....

I stopped here for lunch with my 2 six year old granddaughters. The place was bustling mostly with locals and workers in the area. We sat at a table by the front windows. The kids menu has about 4-5 choices. One girl had the kidâs spaghetti served with garlic toast and the other the grilled cheese sandwich served with fries and applesauce. Neither could finish their food. I had the fish sandwich which was okay. The service was fast. It is a nice place to stop.

We started lunch off with an appetizer of Portobello Mushroom Fries which were absolutely delicious. We could tell they were frozen, prepared ones and not freshly made only because they were so uniform cut and coated. However, we learned a long time ago......so what if a restaurant uses something that is prepared as long as it tastes good and these most certainly did.My husband then had the Friday fish fry basket special and I had the Veggie Wrap. Both were fresh tasting and were large portions like all the other dishes we saw coming out of the kitchen. Prices are extremely reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. Service was attentive. We would definitely return if ever visiting back here. Highly recommend for locals and visitors to give it a try.

Salt of the Earth- rustic American eatery and bakery is located in the heart of southwest Michigan farm and orchard country. We cook from scratch to create our entrees, shared plates, wood oven fired pizzas, creative soups, fresh salads, desserts, and art
We had dinner here on the recommendation of our B&B host. Nicely decorated, interesting but limited menu. We had Ashley as our server and she did a great job of describing the entrees and making recommendations. The $7 until 7pm wines were good . The scallops were excellent. The stuffed chicken breast was lacking flavor and quite bland. Skip this one and order the pasta dish instead. The fresh breads were excellent and the presentation with fresh salt and chunky pepper was a nice touch. Overall a good evening out.
