From the moment you walk into the Lido Deli in Long Beach, NY, you know you are going to have a wonderful and satisfying meal. Right from the entrance starts the delightful parade of Jewish delicacies. They have a lavish and lush variety of items to choose from. The platters and individual cookies are the start to the glorious showcases housing wonderful Jewish dishes. Knishes, pickles, kugels, pot pies, latkas, cutlets, fried chicken, meats and salads are just a sampling of the mouth watering goodies that runs the length of the restaurant. You are then greeted by a welcoming staff member and escorted to a table. On the table is a bowl of very delicious coleslaw and assortment of pickles. Then the fun begins and you are presented with their amazing menu. This is one extensive menu. From breakfast dishes including omelettes and bagels and lox to a hot dinner entree. They have appetizers for a small bite. They have soups that are just divine. The matoh ball soup was heavenly. The matzoh ball was light and fluffy. This soup could cure everything from the common cold to the flu. The split pea soup was creamy and flavorful as well is their barley soup. The stuffed cabbage was fantastic in a sweet and sour sauce. I love knishes and nothing beats a hotdog from a Jewish Deli. We had the Sampler platter with hotdogs in blankets, potato knishes and potato pancakes, served with applesauce. Everything was terrific. The outside was crisp on the knish and pancakes and soft in the middle. The mini hotdogs were so flavorful. The overstuffed pastrami and corned beef sandwich was over the top. The very generous portions of meat topped with their homemade coleslaw, on the fantastic rye bread was dreamy. This is the epitome of a classic Jewish sandwich. We finished off with a cup of coffee and a classic black and white cookie. An authentic Kosher Jewish Deli is few and far between. Yes they have many good kosher style delis in the New York and Long Island area. The Lido Deli is a true Kosher Jewish Deli. They are kosher and abide by the Jewish guidelines of being strictly kosher. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY I had so many wonderful Jewish delis in my neighborhood. Now they are gone. I live in Long Island and many of the delis in my area are also gone. I am so happy that Lido Deli has stood the test of time and has stayed where they are and true to themselves. It was a privilege to have dined in this epic establishment. This is a classic Kosher Jewish Deli, run by 3rd and 4th generation family members. They are a family owned and operated establishment and is a staple in the community. With wonderful service from everyone who works there, I definitely will be back. My one and only complaint is that I wish I lived closer.

We have eaten here many times while staying at the Hilton. This time we were at the adjacent Hampton Inn and our nearest meal option was 144. We were here for a late lunch and dinner. Both times, the service was slow, though it was better at dinner. The food was definitely average. The chicken club salad was good.

The Bayhouse Waterfront Bar & Grille is located in Rosedale New York and was my first restaurant that I enjoyed during my month long US Holiday. In total there were over thirty-four (34) other restaurants that I experienced during my month long vacation in America.I was invited with my daughter-in-laws father, and the restaurant was very close to JFK airport and my hotel. We both had a great visit and fantastic dinner. It was raining that night so we did not have a chance to dine on their outdoor terrace yet we did have a nice window table with a view of the water! The menu was quite extensive so I had a difficult time deciding on my selection. What we found out that ALL the food at the Bayhouse Waterfront Bar & Grille was very, very good.I liked the atmosphere and our waitress was very professional and friendly. I would return on a heartbeat on my next trip to the Statesâ¦

family wanted to revisit this little literary place in atlantic beach just to admire the great decor and usage of books in so many lovely details; definitely a wonderful place to bring a date or treat that special someone to a delicious meal.our server bianca was efficient and brought us the menus, provided details of the specials and took our drink orders relatively quickly. was disappointed when the wine glass was still showing the remnants of a former drinker's lips though....not a good way to start dinner nor having be called "honey" was totally unacceptable. unfortunately service was really slow & our meals took forever to show up. but the food did not disappoint, whether it was the fois gras burger, pork chops with wild mushroom ravioli, the burrata appetizer or clam love andouille sausage gumbo with corn & tomatoes. all very good. dessert offered for the evening was a chocolate molten lava cake with fresh whipped cream & huge plump blueberries..yum! overall, it was a nice evening, teens were happy & hope to come back for one of their themed nights whether its books or movies....you will enjoy being there.

Diner Resteraunt serving the community for over 50 years. Open 7 days a week; serving breakfast, lunch, & dinner all day. Just 5 Miles from Kennedy Airport, 6 Miles from The Rockaway's and 6 Miles from Rockville Centre. Private Party Room Available for up
Excellent service was provided by Jimmy. He anticipated our needs and exceeded them. Our drinks were always filled and he assured our food was prepared just the way we liked it. Portions were huge, fresh and delicious. Crunchy pickles, delicious macaroni salad and cold refreshing coleslaw was presented by Jimmy prior to our meal; oh my, so so scrumptious. I had to be careful not to fill up prior to my yummy tuna melt.

So we started dinner in at Another notable Central Avenue eatery. We decided that we wanted to up the experience a bit and went to prime bistro for dessert.Their desserts, as promised are truly works of art. They are absolutely beautiful in presentation. Or I to find fault at all it would be with the level of service involved. True we came in and probably an hour or two before closing but that is truly no reason to sit and wait 30 minutes to get coffee and dessert anywhere. It really ruins the experience. Beyond that there is not much to add a part from perhaps we shouldâve had dinner there and we would have been more welcome desert guests.

Delivery available!
This is a very good fast food kosher Mexican restaurant with surprisingly cheap prices. It's not the healthiest of places, but it doesn't claim to be. Oh and if you're a vegetarian, you'll have options as well. I'd definitely return next time I'm in the neighbourhood.

Whenever we're in NY, my husband and I never miss an opportunity to go to Traditions (sometimes two or three times in a 10-day visit). The food is always delicious, prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. It gets very busy (and noisy) in the evenings but that's fine. Probably one of - if not THE - best kosher delis in the metropolitan area.

The new American steakhouse is the brainchild of Boris and Edward Safaniev, brothers and friends. Together, they coined the concept of DOMA Land + Sea with the intention of creating a restaurant that is versatile and accommodating for any guest or occasio
Doma is a beautiful restaurant that is very kid friendly. They have high chairs and the staff is excellent and extremely kind to children. The menu is extensive and delicious. The desserts are incredible and should not be missed my favorites are the cotton candy and the donuts They also have an amazing wine selection. Doma is located across from the cedarhurst station of the lLIRR and there is also ample street parking. Doma is a restaurant that you will love and want to return to many times.

The view is amazing, and a lot of fun to be right on the water. The food was ok but not amazing. I had just run a half marathon and was in the mood for deep fried food (usually I eat much more healthy). The french fries were terrible, totally overdone and really inedible. The mozzarella sticks were fine. The calamari was ok but a little limp. Also got pina coladas, which were very sweet, not much alcohol, obviously made with a mix. Overall I'm glad I went, for the view and the "casual on the water" vibe, but the food was not great.
