Your local British pub with an American address!
As Brits on Cape Cod we felt is was our duty to visit after all it was nearby. In the end we went on 4 occasions, simply because it was so convenient. ....twice for drinks and twice to eat. The drinks were fine, a bit pricey but that is the exchange rate for you! The food was so-so, nothing special and quite expensive as portion sizes were small - by american standards!! The location was superb ...no outside space though....inside a bit drab. If this is meant to recreate a British pub then sadly, no.

The food was wonderful -- simple, delicious, New England diner food. But, the staff, at least the morning we were there, literally avoided making eye contact and did so much other seemingly unnecessary stuff since the restaurant wasn't full nor was anyway waiting -- like clearing tables, moving chairs around, tidying up -- before even seating us. Then they had to be called over to take a drink order. And the first eye we caught said she'd send her colleague over, who then did a few more little things before approaching us. Never saw her again until she dropped off the food. Bummer, since the food really was good.

We were told they were the best lobster rolls in Massachusetts....flavorless, mayonnaise, celery and we asked for some garlic butter and they didn't have that and didn't know what we meant....very disappointed and wish we would have ordered something else.

Lobster chowder was excellent. Main courses were fine, not wonderful. Could use some updating/sprucing up. We sat down for lunch after 2pm and were served promptly. The beet salad and pickle appetisers were delicious as was the home made lemonade. The outside tables are great for people watching!

Moonakis is a locally-owned breakfast and lunch restaurant with a loyal following. Our servers love getting to know you and look forward to you joining "the Moonakis family". People rave about our homemade hash, light and airy pancakes, waffles and omelet
We went to Moonakis for breakfast based on the reviews and local recommendations. We had to wait for a table, which seems to be the norm, so no matter. The breakfast was not what I would consider extraordinary. One of their specialties is homemade corned beef hash, which we ordered. My first bite was mostly fat, which put me off the rest of the dish. Also ordered the linguica, which I had never heard of, but was good. One other reviewer noted that the place is noisy, which is true. On the plus side, the staff was mostly younger people who were really hustling and working hard. Kudos to them for all their effort.

My wife and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary here last week while Nor-easterner Melissa was pounding Cape Cod. We began by ordering two appetizers - the Green Goddess Salad for my wife and I ordered the Lobster Strudel. Excellent! We then ordered two specials - a Halibut entree for my wife and I ordered the Pork Tenderloin special. Again, extraordinary! We were then surprised for dessert with a bowl of homemade Maple Pecan ice cream with a candle! Our server Linda was also the best and she made our special evening even better. Thank you!

Exquisite food prepared creatively. Our favorite restaurant in Falmouth. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are local, yet many dishes have an Asian flair. We love the tuna tartare and if youâve never had a swordfish chop, this is the place to have it. The short ribs and steak are every bit as good as the seafood. Be sure to make reservations as the restaurant is very popular b

My brother and I were guests last night at WSK--we have a fabulous server, Trisha. She was fun, knowledgeable and efficient. The food was outstanding--Cioppino and Scallops--their Chess Pie as a finish was also wonderful.A great place to go, and you will love it--on the water too!

BEST CHOWDER IN NEW ENGLAND FROM YANKEE MAGAZINE, BEST CHOWDER 2015 from CAPE & ISLANDS MAGAZINE, MV MAGAZINE and winner of the 2015 MV CHOWDER CONTEST!! - Copper and mahogany grace our nautically chic dining room creating a casual-fine dining atmosphere.
The chowder was perfectly madeâright amount of salt, perfectly cut potatoes, perfectly diced clams. My husband had the lobster roll and I had shrimp cocktail. Not the best shrimp cocktail Iâve ever had, but not bad. The lobster roll was delicious. They have a really good bar with great drink selectionsâwines, beers, vodkas, and tequilas. Checked out the loft upstairs and it was hopping. We left to get Backdoor Donuts, but would return to play darts, pool, etc. Great place.
