Arrived at 8 pm. Ordered soup and salad. We wanted to eat before our friends surprise birthday which was supposed to happen at 9pm in the back. 8:45. No soup no salad . Iâm starving. I went to the bar and asked the bartender to just cancel my order. He seemed to be surprised and I told him that it had been 45 minutes since he took my order and since I had last seen him. He goes to the kitchen window and comes back and says âthey must have lost your orderâ The only reason my husband and I stayed as long as we did was so that we could enjoy the surprise celebration for our friends birthday but we never got any food except a slice of birthday cake. We will not be going back to this establishment. How long does it take to dump some clam chowder into a bowl and pour the salad out of the bag? And the bartender shouldâve noticed that we have been sitting there for 45 minutes and didnât have any food or at least had somebody check on this.So sorry to hear about your experience here. I looked into what may have happened. It seems our bartender was so busy getting ready for your friends large party that he unfortunately neglected his section. This is surprising as he has worked here for several years. We have spoken with him and reminded him how important it is to be fully aware of all of our guest's needs. Clearly he failed on this point. Our servers are trained to seek assistance whenever they may feel overwhelmed or distracted. I truly hope you are willing to give us another try again so we can show you a true Cornucopia experience. Sincerely, Nils Stark

I had the cheese steak with house smoked meat. My husband had the elk tacos. Kids had burgers. All of us agreed it was amazing. Beer was great, service was outstanding. Would definitely go if youâre in town.

The previous morning, the line was so long, we couldn't wait and choose another eatery. So, the next day, no line! YAY. You'd think. The place was rather run down, and sticky, like a greasy spoon, but we thought it must just add to the charm. Wrong again. The food was so-so and service slow-slow. Must have been a bad day.

We're visiting Eugene and needed to cook a special dinner for four. Walked into Newman's, saw the amazing selection in the cooler and when Rod behind the counter asked what I'd like I said "show me what's your peak product this afternoon." Rod went straight to the Chinook (aka "King") Salmon, "first of the season, line-caught, and never frozen" and following conversation custom cut a thick 3# piece. I cooked it just as Rod suggested, simply baked with a little olive oil, salt and pepper, 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Now, I cook a lot, in the oven and on the grill, with great results. This was the best salmon I ever cooked. Thank you to Rod and Newman's. You folks who live in Eugene see really fortunate!

I don't get it! Do people just not like food?! Everyone raves about this place and I have no clue why! The only thing I can think is that it's because it's trendy to think it's good? So expensive and way overrated! Plus, you better not be hungry when you get there. It's gonna be quite a wait. Just say no!

We wanted to go some place special with our business associates. We picked this place and were not disappointed. All six of us loved what we ordered. The wine was excellent and so was the service. It has been awhile since we have been to the Oregon Electric Station. It is a tad on the expensive side but we found the food exceptional. Yes, there could be a couple of suggestions for improvement but all-in-all it was very good.

The world is a village, welcome to ours. We are a european village-inspired restaurant featuring pre-prohibition cocktails, a small but growing wine list and local craft beers and spirits. We look forward to seeing you.
Last minute audible call same day for reservation (probably not needed) to find a cozy laid-back bistro atmosphere. No on-online reservations that I found so suggest a call if you like to make reservations. Pictures show what we ordered. Food and service very good. Thanks Judith..liked your style of service. Good cocktails. This could easily become my go-to place in Eugene. Is OK for individual, couples, family, or small groups. If I was on my own would feel completely comfortable eating there. Able to hold casual conversation easily with noise level. Agree with rustic chic setting description. Dress is casual but flip flops & t-shirts I think not appropriate.

A full-service, family friendly restaurant serving Northwest comfort food with a twist.
The Poppers were so amazing I think my husband was ready to run off with the lady who makes them from scratch. The Meatloaf sandwich was delicious...their Tomato Basil soup, amazing. My son had the Haddock sandwich and loved it and my daughter ordered the pulled pork sandwich and after a couple bites looks at me and says...Mom, you make the best-pulled pork ever and I think Cafe 440 might have you beat. This coming from a girl that has tasted pulled pork from one side of the country to another. Are only regret is that we don't live in Oregon and may never get back to this awesome cafe. Oh and the service was wonderful!!!!

Dedicated to pairing Northwest wines with regional food products, King Estate's culinary team uses seasonal organic ingredients whenever possible. Most of these come from the Estate's 30+ acres of organic gardens and orchards.
Visiting the area and decided to return to this beautiful setting! Our B&B hosts had purchased a charcuterie plate from King Estate for a happy hour celebration at the B&B before we came for dinner. Combined with what we had brought, we were pretty full by the time we got to the restaurant on that beautiful evening. To sit outside, you must have a reservation in the restaurant and then wait for an outdoor space if you wish. The food we did have (appetizers--we were too full for dinner) were delicious and locally sourced, but overpriced for portion size. Service was attentive and well-done. Despite the prices, we will return because it is a magical setting at dusk.Thank you for visiting King Estate and for the review! The local B&B accommodations are great for guests visiting from out of town and are only a few miles down the road from King Estate. Next time you are in Eugene, we would love to host you for entrees and desserts. Thank you and we hope to see you soon!

Take a seat at our restaurant in Eugene and enjoy a panoramic view of the Willamette River while enjoying breakfast, lunch, dinner or a glass of Willamette Valley pinot noir at SweetWaters. Our Chef has put his own spin on traditional Northwest favorites,
I had to stay at the Sweetwaters hotel after my vehicle broke down. I ordered room service and Rocky took great care of me. She was professional, caring and funny. The food was great too!
