The service at the Home Cooking is about the best I have seen in this town. The food is down right great. My wife and I always visit the Home Cooking when ever we are leaving town to go on another adventure in the states or out side of the states. The restaurant is located as you enter the town of Elk City from exit 41 from interstate 40. I have to say it is one nice place to dine. For breakfast, lunch, or supper. D.J. Julian

We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
Friendliest people ever! Coffee was good, our biscuits/sausage/gravy/eggs were delicious. I asked about the name and got the full story behind it. We were very impressed. Everything was clean and in good shape. Would go again!

Great choices of food at your fingertips. The dinner crowd was arriving and the restaurant was very crowded. No problem in seating. Drinks were brought to our table while we were filling our first plate. The food was hot and delicious. Will eat at this restaurant again if I am in the area.

When we walked into the place I thought "ummm, I don't know about this" but we have been in places like this before and the food had always been good. This place is no exception. Not much to look at but good food simply prepared. I would have given it 3.5 stars if I could.

We stayed at the adjacent Days Inn and ate a comped breakfast here. The food was served quickly, tasted great, and left me with nothing to complain about. I especially liked the service, which was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I'd eat breakfast here again, even if it wasn't comped.

This was a recommendation, and a good one! The young girl taking orders and serving was a delight! We all had burgers and they were great!! Hot and juicy! The straight fries and curly fries were hot and really good! The drinks are serve yourself, but the young girl got our refills for us. Asked if we wanted to go cups too. Prices comparable. Good choice!!!

Simple food with a big taste. Everything here tastes great. The rolls, the honey butter, the salads, teas and especially the avocado chicken salad which is the house specialty. The service was "A" number one. The staff were very personable and talkative which made it a great experience. The green salad with the avocado and chicken salad was wonderful. The soup was excellent. The venue sparkles and we would return.

Dry brisket, soggy fried okra and Cole slaw with a distinctive awkward flavor are what pull down the ratings on this chain establishment. Friendly and quick service are a plus that helps offset the food issues. Texas toast is nothing to brag about. The pulled pork was very good and moist. Nothing really stands out and the price/value is poor - $27 for lunch (before tip) is a little steep for BBQ. Must be better barbecue in the area, just need to find it.

We are a family owned restaurant in western Oklahoma, serving the best all you can eat Catfish, Family Recipe Fried Shrimp and Hand Cut Choice steaks!! Come see us!
Talk about a great family restaurant that you definitely are not going to stumble over, Simons is a family favorite. Not a road side tourist stop with signs pointing the way, if you get here, you were on a mission. Known for the all you can eat catfish, I had the steak which cooked to perfection. The meals come with all the trimmings too.

I was a little disappointed in the food after hearing such great things about it. My baked potato was extremely dry, and my husbandâs hamburger was average, nothing like advertised. That being said, the place was clean, the wait staff was very friendly and attentive, and I wouldnât mind giving the place another shot if weâre ever back in the area. Thanks for coming in!
