Came across this place as we were sharing a Shave Ice just down the street at JoJoâs. Picked the Number One from the four available items which was delicious Kalua pulled pork, grilled onions over a fat pineapple sausage in a bun. My mouth is watering now. Excellent quick bite after driving up the canyon.

We dined with local friends and thoroughly enjoyed this funky off-the-beach restaurant in Kalaheo, a few miles from Poipu. Most of our party had steak or ribs, but I opted for meatloaf, which came with a superb gravy. Dessert featured an unusually light bread pudding, drizzled in raspberry sauce. The Moscow mule tonight was another local variation and smooth as silk.

When visiting Kauai, we like to do dinner and the art walk in Hanapepe on at least one Friday. We loved going to the Hanapepe Cafe and we're disappointed to see that it had closed. We happened upon the Glass Beach Gourmet by accident, there was a parking spot available out front. The restaurant is located at the far end of town, past the book store, but worth the few extra steps. We both had the special, which was BBQ ribs, cole slaw, Mac&cheese, rice, and a really tasty cheesy biscuit. Everything was very good. The ribs were done with a dry rub, not dripping with sauce, but very tender, moist, and flavorful. The owners were super friendly and hospitable. We will be back!

We were in Historic Hanapepe and wandered into this restaurant for a quick bite of lunch. Itâs simple, plain, and cozy in appearance. But, the menu is surprisingly diverse, and the host was exceptionally attentive and pleasant. We grabbed burgers and drinks and had a really enjoyable experience! Highly recommended!!!

I was in the drive through and it was not moving at all so I went in. The workers seemed to be unfocused so service was really slow. The food was typical of any McDonalds

We stopped for a meal here before going on a cruise, and had a couple of rice plates. The food was really good - the vegetables fresh and crisp not over-cooked, the chicken tender and perfectly done. It wasn't a busy time, and we found the service was prompt really helpful - so much so that we wondered if the lady was the owner of the restaurant. I'd definitely go there again if I was in the vicinity.

Had lunch at MCS during the week. Attentive service. Nothing in the atmosphere category to write about. Had a chicken salad which was prepared in a pretty bowl. Thai dressing a bit bland. Partner had white fish sandwich which looked boring but he said was good.
