Not exactly a welcoming spot. We came upon a nearly empty dining room and was still given the stink eye for not having a reservation. The food was fine. Cubing the steak was weird. Service was very slow

The train may have left the station, but you don't have to miss out on the most extraordinary steak around. Join us in Union Station for dry aged steak that The Providence Journal lauds as having, âonly gotten better with time.â Weâre just one block away
Went to Capital Grille in Providence for dinner during a business trip. Valet parking available. Reservation made through Open Table for 9:30PM, but I arrived an hour earlier than my reservation. I was seated in less than 15 minutes, however, the only available table was near the entrance. If you are working, reading, are dining with others, or are just non-distractible, this is the table for you, if not forgo. Manny, my server, was excellent and Andrew managed my table adeptly. Everyone was attentive, friendly and professional. Although I dined alone, I never felt overlooked for bigger parties, which has happened in the past in other establishments. I dined on Seared Citrus Glazed Salmon With Marcona Almonds and Brown Butter, with sides of Sam's Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Spinach. I opted for the smaller side portions. Rated the meal four stars. I wanted to love the Coconut Cream Pie With House Made Caramel Sauce, but sadly it fell short for me as far as taste. I was shocked about that particularly from the number of rave reviews I saw online and that this was their signature dessert. I must say that itâs presentation was awe inspiring and would have satisfied four diners easily. The hostess asked how it was going as well as Mark, the manager(?). At this point I shared my displeasure with the dessert. He offered another, which I declined and he had it removed from my bill. Mark, Manny and Andrew were genuinely dedicated in their customers having a wonderful gastronomic experience. My sincerest appreciation and thanks to you all! I rate the service five stars, food was four and overall a four and a half stars.

A place that is both upscale and friendly. Thatâs Millâs Tavern in downtown Providence. For years, this Rhode Island favorite has provided guests with an exceptional dining experience. Whether for a romantic evening, special celebration or business dinner
This is a small city restaurant that thinks it knows it all. Our waiter was an arrogant, provincial hick. The food was poorly paced (we waited 45 minutes between our appetizers and main). One of the mains were poorly executed and inedible. Not recomended.

Nuovo is located on the water in Providence. Great location, and it must be a prime seating for Waterfire. We had lunch there; Bolognese pasta and tenderloin risotto. Well done. Good portions.Try to sit outside on the terrace a great view of city from there. Will return.

Wonderful mealâcaprese salad (basal a bit dry) melted in mouth; local oysters were very good (served with interesting shaved ice to cleanse palate). Dinners (Duck three ways; gnocchi with cauliflower, asparagus and peas in a light delicate sauce) were terrific and portions sizable. Excellent serverâMichaela. Wish we lived closer to come here often!

In Providence for RISD we looked for a gourmet white table cloth modern vibe venue. Gracies is it. Wonderful salad with locally sourced greens followed by fresh fish was cooked perfectly. Member of our party had pasta which was all dente and special. Excellent wines an elegant service. Iâll be back!

Offering a setting that is unlike any other in Providence, Waterman Grille is situated along the Seekonk River in a former bridge gatehouse that dates back to 1871. With its ageless brick, restored wood patinas and open kitchen, Waterman has become a neig

He was friendly, prompt, hard-working. Great job, Daniel, (from the couple from Chicago).Food: Amazing. Every dish was mouth-watering.
