This place is a fun addition to the dining choices in Durham. First off they have some unique soda flavors-my fave is the Saigon Cola! The burgers are fun too and each salad is a little different, but the best part of the onion straws! What a wonderful blend of onion, salt and grease!!Trust me...it works!

The staff was perfectly fine and friendly. I frequently visit breakfast spots and I was disappointed with the standard breakfast fare. The menu mentioned locally sourced food but I'd suggest a new supplier. I tried the chorizo. However it was very grisly and fatty. Maybe buy it from Tendercrop? Also, the home fries were more steamed than crispy, sauteed or fried. The cinnamon toast and scrambled eggs were good. I noticed my friend didn't eat much of her breakfast. Tho, I'm unsure why. But I'd suggest a different sourced chorizo or choosing a different meat. The prices were reasonable.

We visited here while travelling along Route 16, NH, on the recommendation of friends. I'm really glad we did. We dined in the pub on the lower level of the Three Chimneys Inn. The FFrost Sawyer Tavern and dining area are set in a warm, cozy, friendly, colonial atmosphere. Our waitress, Romaine, gets a special shout out for her friendly countenance, and helpful recommendations. My wife's scallops were tasty, while my daily special, hamburger & hangar steak, w sautéed mushrooms, onions, tomato, lettuce, & cheese was delicious & a mouth-full. The fries were pretty good too. My Manhattan was plentiful and made perfectly. I imagine that the tavern can get pretty busy on weekends, especially if there's a University function down the street at UNH, but, on a Thursday evening. we were able to be seated without a wait. Great Recommendation.

Historic Boutique Hotel and Restaurant located just a mile from the University of New Hampshire.
I was interested to visit the tavern since the renovations. The new interior is different, but does seem to have lost some of the old charm. The burgers were good, but overpriced for Durham. Our server was friendly and attentive, but the overall atmosphere was lacking something.

This restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The service of the waitresses was efficient and speedy, and the quality of the food was very good. Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal and would recommend it to others.
