Came to Oscars to celebrate January birthdays and had a good meal! Rustic and loud crowd at 6:00 on a Saturday night. Busy! Parking was best across the street in the public lot. Specials were 3 courses for $30 per diner. To start, there was the kale Caesar salad with anchovies (not a kale fan, but salad was tasty), butternut squash soup (YUM), calamari (stir fried, not crispy but still tender and surprisingly good) and cauli/tater tots. And I must make special mention of the bread and butter which is amazing!!!Entrees: Scallops (wonderful) with a potato and parsnip mash, filet mignon same sides, and veal scallopini. Everyone enjoyed their food, not too much either, just right. To finish, there was Irish coffee which several of us got, and the crepe brûlée was perfect with a nice crispy shell! $150 with 6 glasses of vino. Well worth it!

Kind of a broken-up layout with tables in front, bar area in the middle and a larger room at the rear. Lunch time seems to bring a crowd from near by offices. Service is adequate. Menu is eclectic with an odd mix of cuisines but it's a place where you can always find something on the menu that trips your taste buds.

After a long day of driving. We actually walked to the restaurant from our hotel. We were seated promptly. The restaurant was clean. Our waitress was very friendly. The steaks were cooked perfectly, potatoes were hot. As will any steakhouse the prices are higher. But this meal was well worth the price. Very enjoyable and relaxing meal.

Disappointed that we've not visited here before. About 10 of us went on a Saturday night and the service was quite good. It's a large restaurant and the lively atmosphere makes for a good place for groups. They have a small but decent list of craft cocktails. My BlackBerry, rosemary old fashioned was good. Strong and not too sweet. My wife and I shared calamari, good, but just a bit greasy. My chicken carbonara was very good. Creamy with nice portions of diced chicken. The pancetta added a bit if saltiness and a bit of smoky bacon flavor. A huge portion for $20. Definitely a place we'd go back to.

First the good - loved my smoked mescal margarita (a special). Bang bang shrimp a terrific app. I got the tenderloin and shrimp special; nice flavors. My wife enjoyed her shrimp / scallop skewer. Efficient server. Our bit of a beef this time: We get there at 4:15, literally one other occupied table in whole place, they put us next to them. No big deal, but then a slow moving (i.e. elderly) party of about 12 is placed (planned obviously for a group that size) also right next to us, practically standing on top of us while they slowly get situated. Why not put us on the empty other side when they know this group is coming? Plus this very much slowed down our server. (Not her fault, still a good tip.). Guys â think. Wonât keep us away but hopefully will read and consider the feedback and work with the staff a little on this.

For years we have enjoyed dining at BJâs. However, during recent visits the quality of food has been lacking. Not sure if itâs chef or management but management needs to look into this problem.

This was my first and last time at 101 Beer Kitchen. We were seated fairly quickly and greeted by a very nice waitress, she took our drink order, came back quickly and took our food order. I had the burger, no mayo, medium (although I do love a medium rare burger) and my companion ordered the pretzel bites. We waited.....and waited......and waited. Finally someone who couldâve been a manager quickly came by and said that our food would be right out. He dashed off before I had a chance to look up to see him. But, he was right, our food came out shortly thereafter. We probably waited 30 minutes for our food. The pretzel bites are huge and the fries are really good!Burger came with mayo, but thatâs ok. I figured Iâd just add some mustard.....oh, there isnât any on the table. As I was enjoying my yummy fries and waiting for the waitress so I could ask for some mustard, I noticed the bun was really wet from the juices of the burger and I wondered how I would pick it up without having it fall apart. Anyway, I smushed down the bun and noticed my plate now had a good amount of juice on the bottom. It looked like someone spilled beef broth on my plate. Seriously, Iâve never seen such a juicy mess. Then, I cut the burger in half and then realized that the juicy mess was nothing compared to the raw, cold meat appearing before my eyes. I flagged down the waitress, showed her my plate. She agreed that was not right and took it back to the kitchen. In about 10 minutes I got another burger. Whew! After all that, the burger was a disappointment. It lacked any real flavor even though crispy bacon strips were added to the top. It was forgettable, for sure. Now, this whole time I am thinking that this is probably just a hiccup for them and Iâd come back to give them another try. I thought âI bet they comp my burger or maybe the iced tea or maybe the Manager will swing by to ask if thereâs anything they can do to make this right for the customerâ. Three strikes on that one. Food taking too long to get to the table and having to send back food to the kitchen are things that just happen in the restaurant business and wouldnât have been reasons to never return to 101 Beer Kitchen. But not even attempting to make it right for the customer is easily avoided and the right thing to do. This review wouldâve been so much different had they at least done something to make it right. I wouldâve given them 4 stars, wouldâve returned to eat there, wouldâve written a great review. You are absolutely right, and this is completely unacceptable and not in line with our standards. Every table should be touched by a manager and if there is an issue the manager should be making it right for the guest. I sincerely thank you for taking the time to write your review so we know and can address the issue. You are right, this happens in our industry. However, it is supposed to be how we handle it that sets 101 Beer Kitchen apart and we failed in doing that for you. My sincere apologies. If you see this and would like to email [email protected] I promise we will rectify this situation.

Where locals gather and visitors are always welcome! A quaint Irish Pub located in the heart of Historic Dublin. Serving unique and standard Irish fare. Great selection of Irish beers and whiskies.
The Dublin Village Tavern looks small from the outside and the inside ⦠and small it is. I suggest getting there early, because it is an enjoyable place. Dublin, Ohio, depicts itself as an Irish town. Although this is obviously not true, the Village Tavern does a good job of creating an Irish pub atmosphere. The food and beer are very good, and it is simply a comfortable place to enjoy a summer afternoon and early dinner.
