Some of the best pizza that I can ever remember! We had the Neanderthal and the Quatro pizzas ... both exceptional ... highly recommended. Crusts are hand-tossed thin. Inside dining area is small ... so may be a bit crowded at times. Also ... no air-conditioning ... so it can get a bit warm/hot in the summer. There is outside seating available. Only open from 4:00pm ... so no lunch available.

You can see my review (hopefully) under the new name. Overall, the river view is the main star of the show. Pizza was chewy and very heavy on the cheese. Very friendly staff that made the long wait palatable. Would like to try a steak next time as they looked good on the grill.

After mountain biking At Boggy Draw, we dropped in for lunch at a favorite of ours, the Ponderosa restaurant. Their special today, the southwest chicken sandwich, included a trip to the salad bar, a lovely grilled chicken breast with cheese and a delectable complete green chili...savory, not spicy, french fries and even a serving of frosted cake. Under $8, what a surprise for that feast. Gina was our attentive server, and one can have salad immediately, no waiting. Outstanding choice!

There is no Trip Advisor category for this. On road trips, let's be honest, you either don't always have time to stop at a sit down restaurant or you might not want fast food. And they might not be available at smaller towns. So, what do you do? You get those "cheap" sandwiches at convenience gas station stores, along with a drink and snack. And really, how many of these places do you remember? Not many, because they are pretty much the same.But...this one is different. We were here around 8 p.m. Not much open in town, so we got a few sandwiches and drinks after getting gasoline. What made this stand out is the pleasant clerk and a local cat that likes to hang out here at night and greet the customers. It made a memorable moment.

This has not functioned as a public restaurant in a few years. It was medicore when it was open. It is now a low-income apartment of something like that.
