Nice quaint local restaurant and bar. Their menu is quite unique. Have the lamb stew. Grady had the smoked trout sandwich. Gray my nephew had a cheeseburger. Gray my brother had the shaved ham sandwich. Great. There were some more dishes but they were all really good. Look really nice 5 about that place is that it seems like everybody there really was glad to have you visit and spend time with them. I'll be back for more. Parking is a little odd but is available. the place is just sandwiched between two convenience stores so don't let the looks fool you.

Located in the heart of the North Decatur neighborhood, Kitchen Six was created for the community by the community. A group of neighbors saw the need for a casual, fine dining eatery and set out to provide this for their neck of the woods. The mission was
Absolutely Delicious! Make sure you have a reservation. The place was packed on a Tuesday night and rightly so,... the food was amazing. The combination and pairing of the various ingredients just works. We had the Brussels sprouts and toast for appetizer and spare ribs and steak for entree. I wish I had another night in Atlanta just to eat at Kitchen Six.

Owned by brothers John-Thomas and Christopher Scott, Parker's on Ponce is Decatur's first independently owned steakhouse. The Scott family has always been extremely involved in the local community, including local government. The restaurant is named after
We attended Parker's excellent Easter Brunch in April. The buffet was extensive with many breakfast and dinner items. The shrimp and grits and Big Green Egg smoked lamb were particularly memorable. The desserts were amazing and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. They had a reasonably priced French champagne.

Poor recipes, high prices and stingy portions are not logically a formula for a successful restaurant, but it doesnât matter in this ultra trendy (and handsomely converted ) former railroad station. Sometimes (usually in a beautiful setting), if a menu is priced exorbitantly, an unsophisticated, needy clientele will greedily lap it up because they are programmed to associate ultra high price with ultra high quality. What they are selling at Kimball House is exclusivity (Decatur-style), not food. I could go into detail about the unnecessarily loud and dark bar/dining room, the weak recipes, the high prices, the tiny portions... But, you get it. 2 Stars because of decent oysters, reasonably priced during happy hour.

Kevin Gillespie's restaurant, Revival is a nod to the chef's formative years, offering a proper version of the traditional Sunday dinner served family-style and executed with his precise techniques. Following Gillespie's allegiance to Southern cuisine, Re
My daughter suggested this restaurant for her Birthday brunch. Unknowingly we had visited this location before when it was a seafood restaurant. The new owners have turned this old house into a warm and inviting restaurant. The hostess met us at the door and we were immediately seated on the front porch. It was a great area to enjoy brunch. We ordered a carafe of mimosaâs and I ordered their specialty cocktail called Mountain Jam. It may have been the best cocktail that I have ever had. It was made with tequila, mezcal, peach , poblano and jalapeño pepper. The rim was salted with a wonderful concoction called gunpowder. The gunpowder was so good , I purchased extra to take home for my drinks and steaks. We ordered melon salad and Boudin Pork Fritters for an Appetizer. Both were very good. For our entreeâs , we ordered a omelette, breakfast plate and two orders of Closed On Sunday chicken sandwiches. My wifeâs omelette was good but very small. My daughters breakfast platter consisted of grits , eggs , bacon , sausage and a biscuit. She said it was very good. My Closed On Sunday chicken sandwich was the only disappointment. It was not as good as the restaurant that is closed on Sunday. The chicken breast was very thick and tough . Even with a knife it took some work to get it cut. The mayo sauce was lacking. It was almost tasteless. The chicken had a good taste but was too chewy. Overall we enjoyed our brunch. We finished up with a slice of heavenly pound cake that we all shared. I would come back for special occasions but at 175 dollars , it was my most expensive brunch to date. To be honest we did also take home two containers of the Gunpowder finishing salt. The waiter told us that they were 12 dollars each but were charged 15 dollars each. Our waiter was awesome. He was spot on except for the gunpowder salt lol. Revival is lucky to have Jeff B on their wait staff. I wish I had ordered one of their half pound cinnamon rolls to go with my coffee tonight.

Love their burgers actually - though they have a lot of tasty gourmet meals, I keep coming back for those. If you can get there at night or in fall or spring, their patio is fantastic. Also, a great selection of beers and mocktails. This is my favorite place to treat co-workers because food is good and plenty of place to sit and be heard. Alas, they don't take reservations.

The menu for breakfast/brunch is as traditional as the food is consistently delicious. Our server was low key, prompt pleasant and refilled our coffee without asking. The setting on Decatur square is convenient with outside seating. I loved that they had a veggie sausage selection and almond milk. Always a satisfying meal. Itâs a must especially for families.

A stunning vintage pub with an incredible beer cellar list, an upstairs Belgian bar & a diverse menu with some twists. The service is fantastic, the ambience great & the beer selections beyond anything we have ever seen. My craft beer loving husband has already been back multiple times & I suspect this will be our most frequented place in Atlanta.

Napoleonâs is a lively, upscale food focused pub that features a creative and affordable menu. To quench your thirst we offer 16 craft beers on tap, 50 bottle beers, full bar, and 20 wines by the glass and a reserve wine list of 15 bottles.
Last week my mother and I cashed in some of her gift certificates to Napoleon's Grille. While we were sitting at our table I remember commenting to her that Napoleon's is just what this neighborhood needed; a family spot, cozy, friendly, with great atmosphere, weekly live music and excellent food. I have been to Napoleon's many times and on this occasion had the Pot Roast - Excellent! My mother had Salmon and was equally pleased. Our waiter said he was not sure, but believed that Napoleon's had been open for about 7 years or so. That sounds about right, and it is always good. Kudos to Napoleon'sThanks so much Trey! We sincerely appreciate your business and you taking the time to post something. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Sean Keenan - Owner
