Show up after going to a movie. Parking lot is completely empty but I venture in anyway. Place is open and I am the only customer in the entire diner. The usual non-welcome by the cranky b*stard manning the cashier register. The waitress takes my order and when I comment on how empty she tells me they were out of power for two hours and it was just turned on. So I order a cup of soup and onion rings---about $12.50 worth. Waitress comes back and tells me their credit card machine is down. I rummage around and come up with about $9.00 on me. So I tell her make it just the onion rings. And that is exactly what she brings. I am flabbergasted that the owner didn't tell her "go ahead give him the soup." or something to that effect. I would have easily made good next time I was in the area---probably the next day. I remind you I AM THE ONLY PERSON IN THE DINER! That has to be one of the cheapest things I have ever experienced. All for a measly 3 bucks. Probably their cost is a buck. Never again.

I know this place has been here forever and my family would eat here at least 30 years ago. At 12:15 on a Wednesday afternoon the place was empty. I ordered crabcake platter which came with the worldâs smallest baked potatoâ-no butterâ- no sour cream plus overly sweet cole slaw. No bread. The best I can say is it was prepared quickly. A side order of New England chowder was likewise okay.

Just visited for the first time and we were thrilled with Jackson. We were looking for a restaurant that was open on Christmas and were so lucky to find this fabulous restaurant. Service was excellent. Our waiter Mo was friendly and very attentive. Food was excellent. My husband had half a roast chicken with potatoes and vegetables and could not stop raving about the flavor. I had pasta which I also kept raving about. Finished the meal with Tartufo. Wow.

Walked in on a Saturday morning and was seated right away. Person who sat us asked what drinks we wanted, next person comes by and asks for a drink order again. I told them we already ordered drinks and we were ready to order and told us that he wasn't or server. Then a third person came by and took or god order. After about 15 minutes or god shows up. Everything correct, but we didn't see or waiter for another 15-20 minutes after wee got food to check in and see if everything was alright. And about 45 minutes we sat there waiting for the check, i didnt even look to see if it was correct i just handed him my credit card (just in case he disappeared again, i didn't want to wait) and finally left. If you do go here keep your schedule opened because you may be here for 1-1.5 hours.

While visiting friends in the Commack area , we all decided instead of having a BBQ on the 4th we would visit a local restaurant. Adaquate on site parking. Did not need reservations and were seated withing 10 minutes. What a great surprise that there was a Special for the holiday. All of us ordered the Steamed Lobster and ribs. Came with a sald, and side s of choice.Service was great and the meal was wonderful, especially not having to clean up .When in the area try this establishment.

I ordered the 14oz Rib-eye and it was juicy and cooked to perfection. I ordered with upgraded Grilled Asparagus and Sweet Potato which was also tasty. Restaurant was packed and service was still awesome. Attentive, nice, professional staff. Management was walking around as well saying hello to customers at the tables which I like that "personal touch" with a restaurant. My new favorite place.Great job Outback Commack!

I've past this restaurant for years (25+) and glad I finally stopped in. Large menu...salads, pasta, seafood ,something for everyone. The shrimp appetizer is large enough to share, crunchy and spicy. We had pasta with vegetables, one with shrimp and one with meat. All the meals came with soup or salad and bread. The deserts are fabulous, save room !!!Very cozy inside, great for large groups.

If you like diner food, as most people do because of the many choices available, Premier is the best in the neighborhood.I usually opt for one of the many chicken sandwiches or many different salads. My husband is a lover of any fish on their menu....he either gets it grilled on a sandwich or grilled as a platter. Onion rings are fantastic! Even their tuna fish salad on rye is fantastic. You canât miss with either the food or the service.....top notch

Bagel Chalet are the experts when it comes to fresh bagels in Commack. For delicious bagels, fresh wraps and salads- come explore Bagel Chalet!
....this place is the #1 rated restaurant in Commack. Fresh grub, and efficient, friendly service. Weekends can be super busy, so be prepared to wait on line for 5-10 minutes before your order is taken. Best Chopped Salads around. It's the only place I will order Whitefish and Lox, because it's fresh and has not been sitting around in the display case. As others have commented, it can be a little pricey, but it is worth it.

Went there with family. Waitress was a sweetheart. Cole slaw a little vinegar taste to it. But good. Sandwich just ok. Would only go back if I donât have any other choice.
