Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
Been here before and had great service. However, went back just recently and had terrible service two days in a row. They were âunableâ to make any of their salads gluten free!?!?!wth??? We ordered the steak then and it was burnt and both of us got sick. Never again and super disappointing.

Wonderful out of the way steakhouse. High quality steaks perfectly prepared, very nice choice of sides. They do a ribeye, NY Strip, and a 10 ounce filet. Some of the best steaks weâve ever had! A really nice treat.

Stopped by this morning for some breakfast, and ordered the âchicken coopâ, I have never had such a tasty feast for breakfast, it was wonderful!. The dish I had started with really good biscuits topped with sausage gravy topped with cut up crispy fried chicken, cheese and finished off two over easy eggs over it all. The taste was five star and the amount of food kept me fed for the rest of the day. The serve was friendly, food came fast, and the inside was an eclectic fun with giant paper mache or plaster of Paris chicken sculptures and other really fun decor throughout. I would eat here all the time if I lived here. I sincerely recommend this restaurant.

A group of about 24 from church went there for lunch. Great experience!! The group size did not scare them and the ordering and serving was very quick and efficient.( Cafeteria style). The eatery is very clean and quite large inside. Doesn't look like much from the outside but makes up for it in the quality of food!! The best fried chicken ever. The fried okra and broccoli casserole were great, as was there salad. If you haven't been, you owe it to your stomach and taste buds to try it!

Historical setting in a stone walled atmosphere. Genuine hospitality and very welcoming. Food was OK. Sandwiches were similar to sandwiches we have had at other restaurants. Nothing to really wow us but we did like the atmosphere and service was exceptional.

Inspired by southern hospitality and fresh creative southern cuisine. We are laid back yet refined. Pull up a chair and stay a while!
The place has it all: location (on water, downtown, easy parking); ambiance (large but intimate sqare space beautifully designed); food (I had the pork chop and heirlo0om tomato salad which were excellent); drinks (try the smoked old fashined!); service (friendly but not cloying. The husband and wife owners are on site and make sure it runs like a top, Owner Mike actually came by to say hello.

I had a ribeye that was absolutely top notch. My colleague had the filet which he said was also great. The service was attentive but not hovering. Side dishes and appetizers were also delicious. $44 or so for the ribeye and totally worth it. Eat here if you want a great steak and great service.

Had a party of nine. Brittany was our server and she was excellent. Knew her stuff and was spot on with everything. We started off with appetizers. Had the prosciutto/date appetizer along with bruschetta. Yumm.... Lamb was devine. You have to try the shaved brussel sprouts with dates. Outstanding!! Scottish salmon was fab too. Dessert of Panna Cotta with BlackBerry sauce was silky smooth. Cheesecake was mile high and excellent with fresh strawberries. Will definitely be back.

We arrived for the Chefs table dinner with three birthdays in tow. Not sure how many courses we had but we definitely had plenty of food. I kind of felt like a guinea pig with a mad food scientist taking control. We had a wide variety of dishes, some I liked and some maybe needed a little tweaking. The first course was licked off of the plate. Not my favorite, love tuna and octopus but the portions were small and I would rather have had them a little larger maybe like a small salad. The licking didnât grasp the total taste to me. There were several dishes I enjoyed, smoked meat under glass, rare roo, soup with syringe noodles and the desert was definitely the at the top!I will definitely return and try the menu items. Service was great and the Aperol spritz were right on time.
