We are passionate about our food, our guests and our employees. It takes the combination of all three for our success. Our menu focuses on Cajun Cuisine.
First, I am from Louisiana, grew up on Cajun and Creole food, and cook it regularly for my family from recopies handed down for several generations.I have tried many "Louisiana" style restaurants in the Atlanta area and this one is the best thus far. It's not perfect, but very good. There were four of us and we all tried different dishes. First was the Bistreux Oysters. They were very good and reminded me of the ones served at Don's Seafood (LA since 1934). Next we tried the Gator Bites. These were good, but a bit too much batter. The underlying flavor was very good but the heavy batter was a bit overbearing. The fried okra was very tasty and hot.The crabmeat and corn chowder was very good as well. My only complaint is that they served oyster crackers with it (a northern thing) as opposed to saltine crackers (more of a southern thing). Also, if you are going to be a Louisiana-style restaurant you need to have Crystal and/or Tabasco hot sauce. It's nice to have your own brand, but it was nothing close to the authentic Louisiana Hot Sauces made in New Orleans and New Iberia respectively. Without a doubt the Eggplant Atachafalya was the star of the night. Quite frankly, it was amazing. I highly recommend it. Lightly crispy on the outside and filled with shrimp, crawfish and crabmeat, it just melted in my mouth. Likewise the Redfish Pontchartrain was amazing. The Maque Choux and Dirty Rice were spot on. The fish itself was prepared correctly and the shrimp and crab topping was an excellent touch that added a wealth of flavor. The Grilled Shrimp were spicy, but not overly so and cooked just right - flavorful, but not overbearing. One word of advice to the owner/manager - you need to teach your wait staff how to pronounce words like "Atchafalya", "Pontchartrain and "Etouffee" correctly. These are signature Louisiana words and your staff needs to know how to pronounce them correctly.I highly recommend Louisiana Bistreaux. It's worth the drive if you are not in the Decatur area and for locals, it's quite the gem. I am looking forward to my next visit to try other dishes. Thanks, We appreciate you taking the time to review your experience

The Original Pancake House is the landmark breakfast restaurant of Stone Mountain, GA. We're not just some greasy spoon diner either. We pride ourselves on quality, serving fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juices every day. We're perfectly capable of
We have always enjoyed this place in other locations. This location was busy and seemed a bit worn. We had to wait which is typical for this chain. The food didn't seem quite as good as other locations. The service was good and went quickly once we were seated. The scrambled eggs were pretty good, not dry or overcooked. The bacon was thicker than I am used to having. I asked for well done and it was almost enough. The pancakes didn't seem as light as I like. I couldn't eat all of any of the items. We both got fresh squeezed orange juice. My daughter got the apple crepes which are almost like a dessert.

Still very good Food, Not as much or as reasonable as it used to be. Staff is friendly and helpful, good parking, cafeteria style serving. Not much has changed over the years, Chicken and veggies are still superior, biscuits and cornbread the same. Get there early as it can get crowded.

I elected to try a place I had not been in many years the Blue Ribbon Grill. The verdict was much the same as the last time I ate here. Very average and mediocre food with below average service. The grilled chicken was very bland even with BBQ sauce. The Yellow rice was also very bland and lacked taste. The Cole slaw was very fresh and good. The spinach salad was good however I ordered it without mushrooms and it was served with them. I had to ask for drink refills and the waitress could not remember what I was drinking Overall not a place I would recommend

Love their burgers actually - though they have a lot of tasty gourmet meals, I keep coming back for those. If you can get there at night or in fall or spring, their patio is fantastic. Also, a great selection of beers and mocktails. This is my favorite place to treat co-workers because food is good and plenty of place to sit and be heard. Alas, they don't take reservations.

The menu for breakfast/brunch is as traditional as the food is consistently delicious. Our server was low key, prompt pleasant and refilled our coffee without asking. The setting on Decatur square is convenient with outside seating. I loved that they had a veggie sausage selection and almond milk. Always a satisfying meal. Itâs a must especially for families.

A stunning vintage pub with an incredible beer cellar list, an upstairs Belgian bar & a diverse menu with some twists. The service is fantastic, the ambience great & the beer selections beyond anything we have ever seen. My craft beer loving husband has already been back multiple times & I suspect this will be our most frequented place in Atlanta.

From the outside this local pub is very nondescript and easy to miss. Donât! The atmosphere is amiable and the food is great ! The burgers are probably the top seller and are always very well prepared. Our group also had huge salads, quesadillas and sandwiches. Everything was scarfed up or taken home to finish. Two nights a week the chef has evening specials that sound delicious.I would suggest that you ask for Sarah when you go. This young lady is The Ultimate Professional Server! Polite, attentive, memory like a steel trap! Iâve eaten in hundreds of restaurants and encountered very few servers of her caliber. This hidden gem in Clarkston should be a definite addition to your dining list. Of course they have a full service bar too.

I think it may be one of several Marlow's Taverns in the Atlanta area. It is located inside the Doubletree Hotel
My husband and I were staying at the DoubleTree on a Friday evening and decided to try Marlowâs Tavern since it was so convenient. We were pleasantly surprised! We were seated immediately and our server came by shortly to welcome us and get our drink order. After we placed our order, a manager brought us an appetizer. When I told her that we didnât order the app, she said that it was provided with their compliments since this was a first-time visit with Marlowâs. She said she knew that we had other choices and they appreciated our choosing them. Our food arrived shortly thereafter and it was nicely present and delicious! Our server was attentive and brought our check promptly. We will definitely go back to Marlowâs..great food and excellent service!

Nice quaint local restaurant and bar. Their menu is quite unique. Have the lamb stew. Grady had the smoked trout sandwich. Gray my nephew had a cheeseburger. Gray my brother had the shaved ham sandwich. Great. There were some more dishes but they were all really good. Look really nice 5 about that place is that it seems like everybody there really was glad to have you visit and spend time with them. I'll be back for more. Parking is a little odd but is available. the place is just sandwiched between two convenience stores so don't let the looks fool you.
