Great visit at ruby tuesday's. Salad bar was incredibly fresh, and a great variety. Staff did a very good job, our server, Breann was right on with service. We had burgers that were exactly as described in the menu, and a decent bottle of wine at a modest price completed an enjoyable dining experience. Definitely on the return list...

A Christiansburg landmark I think Iâve been going there since I was a kid and now my kids take their kids, I remember the days of working at the local grocery store where Mr. Dude would come purchase his things for the day

Dozens of different sandwiches plus the usual burgers, fries, and other bar food. We were there for lunch. Service was great. We weren't too impressed with the fries, probably because we're partial to McDonalds, but everything else was very good. Later in the day iIwas with another group in a brewery and we ordered food from Macado's. The food was good, and it came very quickly.

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.
I donât like chain restaurants, but my elderly parents wanted to meet up here. Service was terrible & the table had super hard seating, even though there were comfortable booths in the back of the establishment. We were told âno wait staff available for that areaâ but there appeared to be plenty of staff around for a party of six. We were crammed into a corner table & our waitress was sweet, but oblivious to the menu. Food tasted like frozen food warmed over, but husband had prime rib that was not bad. Overall, not a good experience, will not return, but hey, itâs a chain restaurant. Overall, average at best. Again, horrible service.

Went with family for dinner and had wine, appetizers, entrees and desert. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with menu choices. Plan on being here for awhile and make sure to have a reservation. It was a charming old home and made for an enjoyable and relaxing evening.

It would be easy to pass Fatbacks without realizing it, sandwiched between hotels and fast foods. Glad we did not miss it. The interior is pretty unassuming, tables and counter space. We were here for a late lunch, so was not crowded (lunch specials end at 2 pm).Unique menu including something called "road kill stew" (which the waitress shared was pulled pork, potatoes, celery, spices, etc. which sounded a lot better than the name implied). We stuck to the more traditional items, one os us having flounder basket and the other having the shrimp basket. Sides were cole slaw, baked beans and hush puppies. Both of us were very pleased. The fried seafood was well-prepared, not greasy, and the hushpuppies were also quite good...the kind with kernels of corn inside. Ditto for the slaw and beans. We had the banana pudding and coconut cream pie for dessert. The banana pudding was okay; the coconut cream pie was excellent.Service was great! Would definitely return to try some of the specials.

My wife and I visit Outback for lunch approximately twice a month. We always order the endless salad and soup. Hard to beat this for $7.99. We both love their clam chowder. Wife occasionally orders french onion soup but I stay with clam chowder. Never had a bad meal or bad service.

Steak chain restaurants such as Outback, Lone Star, and other Teas Roadhouse locations are usually consistent in delivering above average tasting food and good service. This location was different. Visited during a not very busy Sunday afternoon and party of 5 was seated immediately. Our drink orders were returned incorrectly and side orders were wrong on 3 out of the 5 plates. When the "delivery" person was notified he said he would tell our waiter who did not appear until five minutes later. Food quality was hit and miss. The chicken dishes were fine but the steaks were either overcooked or too fatty with raw portions in the 16 oz Ribeye. Although the side orders were corrected the waiter never asked about our food. Having never been asked if we wanted desert, we had to ask another waiter to get our check. We will not be going back to this location.

My husband and I were treated to lunch here by a friend when we were visiting VA. I didnât want to eat here, as I did not have a good experience at a Cracker Barrel in Illinois several years ago, but I was pleasantly surprised by our visit this time! I have severe food allergies, and Cracker Barrel has a very thorough allergen menu that helps one navigate what to order for any of the most common food allergies. Our waiter was also very knowledgeable and did a nice job in helping me decide what to order and also gave an extra heads up to the kitchen staff about my order. The meatloaf, corn, and baked potato were great, and we had a great time! Thank you for being allergy aware!!!

Under new management...We visited THE FARMHOUSE on Tuesday, August 27th for dinner. My boyfriend made a reservation for dinner at 7:30. When we arrived we were given seating options and decided on a quieter location in a booth. We were celebrating my birthday. Our Waiter was William. He welcomed us with a smile, menus and wine list. He immediately returned with water and took our drink orders. He gave us a run down of specials...he knew how they were prepared and was able to answer all our questions. He returned quickly with our drinks and took our order. He made all the specials sound so good we had to try them. Everything was timed perfectly from our appetizer, soup/salad...and entree. He knew what he was doing...gave us time in between each course so that we could relax and enjoy each one. THE FOOD...awesome...5 star SO SO glad that we have a chef here now that makes you want to talk about it to everyone. Everything prepared perfectly and perfect temperature. Presentation was beautiful. Truthfully the whole dinner including the sweet dessert I was given at the end of our meal for my birthday made my whole experience a birthday to remember. Thank you William for taking care of us so well...and Chef...THANK YOU for the best steak Diane I have ever had...and my boyfriend...the best rainbow trout...ever!
