This restaurant is a must every time we come to David. Everything we've tried is good, but especially the Smokin Mamma burger. Also wonderful is the pulled pork, the smoked wings, and surprisingly excellent chicken fingers for kids. The fries are delicious, and they have excellent vegetarian options. The staff has always been friendly. In the evening they aren't usually super busy and they easily accomadated a crowd of 15-20 of us on one occasion.

Can't say it was bad. Just not wonderful like so many other places in town. The food was bland and service was not great.

I went here for breakfast today to see what they had to offer. The restaurant is very well-kept and clean with about 6-7 tables. Staff was very helpful and spoke American/Canadian English. The breakfast menu is pretty limited - essentially cheese omelets and a few breads. Short wait time and the omelet was pretty nice. I guess there's not much competition for breakfast in Alto Boquete, but if they're going to compete with places like Olga's or even La Karreta in Bajo Boquete they're going to have to up their game a bit. More omelet variety would be nice. Old standards like bacon, ham, sausage, grits, fried eggs would be even better. And how about gluten-free pancakes, waffles and French toast? Nobody around here offers that!thank you for your review. Our menu does offer gluten free waffles, several flavors actually. We also have home fries, sausages and fried eggs. But I do thank you for your input and will try to figure out how to improve our offerings.

You shouldn't waste your time or your money. They have an extensive menu. In my experience when there are many options, they are master of none and this is the case. We had tacos and chicken wings. The tacos were forgettable. With the chicken wings you could taste the freezer burn. They were definitely no fresh. The service was terrible, the waiter looked like he hatred his job. Food, beer (no imports or Panamanian Chivo Perro) service are all lacking. You can do a lot better in Boquete.

While staying at the Boquete Tree Trek Mountain Resort we ate at the hotel restaurant on several occasions. The staff were always friendly, helpful and very attentive. The complimentary breakfast was always very satisfying; with beverages, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast and accompanying butter and jams. We loved sitting on the patio, enjoying our morning meal and the beautiful views, and It was more than enough sustenance for a busy morning on the Boquete Tree Trek!We also dined at the restaurant for a late lunch. The appetizers of Patagones, Garlic Bread and Pan Pita were all very good, but the entrees were delicious, including: Hungarian Goulash, Lasagne and Chicken Curry. If only we could have extended our two-night holiday! Beautiful area, delicious food!

We went here for supper on a weeknight. The food was good and big portions... We had shrimp tacos and wings. This is a pretty cool place to hang out. Of the two options of "business in the front" or "party in the back", definately go with the back area which is a nice outdoor dining area. Seems like a popular tourist hangout and spot to have a drink. Lots to choose from on the menu. Enjoy!

Besides the great food this restaurant has a serene atmosphere along a river that is very unique to anywhere elsewhere else. I recommend you ask to sit on the patio and order the duo for dessert. It also has a nice wine list. We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your visit at The Rock Boquete, thank you very much for your comments and we look forward to seeing you again.
