Yard House is an upscale-casual eatery known for great food, classic rock music and 50 taps of imported, craft and specialty ales & lagers. Whether youâre in the mood for a grilled burger and a pint of your favorite ale, or seared ahi and a chilled martin
Good variety of food, wait staff was attentive and quick. Although there seemed to be a lot of people dining on a Wednesday evening, we never felt like we had a wait very long for anything. Restaurant was clean, restrooms were clean. Location was perfect around other restaurants and shopping

I have visited this particular location 2 times, and on both occasions had pretty much the same experience. There was about a 20 minute wait to get a table, which was not bad, and definitely worth it.The service was good, and the selection of food was outstanding. Tons of homestyle comfort food. I opted for the the homemade corned beef hash and my wife chose the veggie patty and eggs. My plate came with biscuits and gravy. All of the food was delicious. The only issue we had with our food was that on both occasions, the food was on the cold side. I almost mentioned this to my waitress on my second visit, but didn't because I figured the first time must've been a fluke. But sure enough, when our food arrived, it was cold. The food must be very good when it is tasty when cold. I would've given them five stars, if not because of the cold food on both occasions.Either way, I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and I will be sure to return at some point in the future.

I've been eating here for many years. I usually get breakfast while my car is at the carwash next door. My favorite is their BLTA on squaw bread but I also really like their Chiliquiles. They have good hot coffee, iced coffee and passion fruit unsweetened iced tea. Their servers are super friendly and efficient however in recent years they don't have enough servers and so service has been slow. I still enjoy coming here for breakfast or lunch and eating on the patio.

I would give five stars for Great food, but the Poor service we got tonight gets one star! My husband and I have been to Owens in the past and loved it. We came tonight to celebrate my birthday, which we noted when the reservation was made. Upon arrival, you enter into the bar area. When we entered the bartender said hello but nothing else. After a few moments I was ready to ask where we needed to check in when a server walked in and the bartender asked him to check us in. We were then told that Denise (the owner) would be with us in just a moment. We stood there for a while before deciding to take a seat at the bar. The bartender never asked if we wanted a drink while we were waiting which would be a good idea in boosting sales and keeping the customer happy while they wait. However, he seemed a bit too busy with the one drink he was making to ask us. Denise then came in to greet us, walked over to the reservation book and then left. A moment later she returned, took us to our table, provided us with menus and told us the specials. She left without ever asking if we wanted a drink while we were waiting. So, we settled for the water that was on the table for the next 15-20 minutes till she came back to take our order. In the meantime there were several waiters and a busboy wandering around yet no one stopped to help us or ask us if we needed anything. They weren't busy enough to explain why we were seemingly forgotten about. It was still early (6:30). We then sat and tried to talk while enjoying the live music, but it was too loud to hear each other talk without shouting. The tables are really close together so you can't really have a private conversation when you're shouting over loud music. When our appetizer came we still had no drinks. I had to ask for them, at which time they did bring them. I should mention that we only ordered a glass of wine and an ice tea. Nothing that needed to be mixed or would take time to make.We started with the grilled avocado appetizer on the corn salsa which was absolutely delicious. It left us wanting more. My husband had the soup of the day, which was a vegetable beef soup that he absolutely loved. For entrées I had the grilled lobster tail with rice and vegetables and my husband had the fillet medallions with petite potatoes and vegetables. The lobster was good but just a tad over cooked. The rice could have used a little more flavor and seemed a little oily/buttery, but was really good mixed with the vegetables. Overall I was satisfied with my dish and it was, as always, just the right portion size. My husband said the fillet medallions were cooked perfectly, the potatoes were seasoned well and the vegetables were tasty. He was very happy with his meal. No one ever came back to ask if we wanted another drink. They did finally returned and ask if we wanted to see the dessert menu. Uhhhh, it's my birthday...of course I do!!For dessert we order the chocolate cake with berries and a glass of port wine. Just before we ordered dessert another table was celebrating a birthday. Their server brought a piece of chocolate cake with a candle in it and they sang happy birthday while the musician played the song. However, the server brought my cake with no candle and no wine. Again I had to ask him to please bring my drink. Denise brought the Port over and I asked her why they didn't sing happy birthday to me like they did the other table? She said the musician was on a break and we didn't want to hear her sing. But really? Not even a candle or a verbal Happy Birthday?!!! Why did I come here again to celebrate a special occasion like my birthday?!Like I said the food was good but when I pay that much for dinner I also expect good service. Without both... I don't return and I don't recommend. It was not only frustrating, but it was hurtful to be treated that way for my birthday. I would rather take the drive and go somewhere the quality of service matches the quality of the food.

Adequate staff, adequate food. A salad with toppings and fish was sufficient to fill, but not so fresh and tasty as I would have hoped. Most things looked entirely pre-made offsite. Their beer selection was quite large, but the cider, notsomuch. Nothing I wasn't ready for when I walked through the door.

First of all, the house is so charming! The process is to order at the counter and then your meal is brought to you. Seating inside is at a premium, but there is also seating outside. The food was very good. I ordered the veggie scramble that came with chunky veggies and to top it off was of course, avocado. The pancakes with caramel was awesome! I had never had that poured on my pancakes before...I'm in! Parking can be challenging too I'm sure on the weekend. Everyone seems to be very friendly. As this restaurant has been recommended several times, I'll be back!

Been eating at Floâs since I started traveling to SoCal for work over 27 yrs ago, and have never had a bad meal. Iâve probably been here 100 times. Now, Iâve never eaten anything but breakfast; but Iâve heard good things about their lunch too. Being from the south, I grew up on killer biscuits n gravy; with Bentonâs Bacon, and other local hams n sausages. Oh, and of course, fried taters n onions: And thatâll never change as my favorite meal when Iâm starting my day back home. But, after eating all that, I usually donât get much work done. Lol... So, when traveling, Iâm a basic breakfast man: eggs over easy, crisp bacon, taters, and wheat toast. And of course, Floâs nails this to a tee. They also have a nice selection of fresh jellies and jams: and btw, thatâs getting hard to find anyone doing much of these days. Ordered my usual, and everything was cooked perfectly. The eggs seem to always come out the same way here too, which seems a task at most places. I love the approach to consistency here: and Bacon and taters seem to look the same as well. Never had the first complaint here, ever. The servers work really hard here, and do a fantastic job as well. Glasses of water and coffee stay full; and they hustle to get you anything else needed. And somehow they seem to always wear a smile(also a lost art these days)... Note: To me; it sure tastes as if they squeeze fresh oranges for their juice here, but not sure. Either way, itâs served in a chilled glass...Nice touch Honestly. thereâs a ton of good breakfast places in SoCal, and to be fair, Iâve not tried emâ all, Lol... But I have tried most in the chino area: And in my opinion, Floâs is Handâs Down, the best bet. A combination of freshness and consistency, served with a smile; and all at a reasonable price... Not much else is needed. Enjoy your fresh breakfast
