I stopped here instated of McDonalds for a little change. I ordered the chicken strips with curly fries and I had to wait about three minutes for fresh chicken. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Turning into the restaurant was a little tight but manageable with my large pickup.
The first time we went was the evening after it snowed all day. The employees were bustling around, stocking things while waiting for customers to come in. We were one of the few that braved travel (had to eat before going to the hotel). There were three employees working and all were very pleasant. Food was great and service was even better! Subway should be proud of this group of employees!!!
Slider's is in the old Blarney Castle. The new owners have kept the same pizza recipe and strawberry soda that my friends and I grew up with. The rest of the menu is spectacular. Particular favorites include the pretzel bats, the tenderloin, and especially the Illinoisian. The service was fantastic!

I don't know what happen to this place but the service we got last night was horrible !My husband and i stopped in for taco's - their taco's are yummy....anyway, i think we sat at the table had to of been a good 5 minutes before we were asked if we wanted something to drink.....i ordered water and he ordered tea ( worst tasting tea he has ever had there ) ..i went to the bathroom and i saw why our service was poor....the waitress was standing at the end of the bar and gabbing with other people and she was STILL THERE when i went back to our table !!! she FINALLY came over and took our order which didn't take long to get but she never came back to ask if we needed refills on our drinks or anything....i dont think i will go back no matter how good their taco's are...
Nothing is more laid back than Banana's on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of locals, some bikers, and everybody that likes good food. The breaded portabella mushroom appetizer is delicious. Big dinner salads are very satisfying and the burgers are great. The place is ultimate casual as people come off the boats from the river, off their Harleys from the road and everywhere else. Over against one wall were fresh tomatoes that one of the patrons brought in for anybody in the bar to take home. Loved it. Only downside, the two bartenders were the waitresses as well and it was busy. It was 25 minutes before they even took our order but the told us that when we came in the door so we were prepared to wait.

The food is good and inexpensive. I like the pizza , quesadillas and fish sandwichs. It's fairly new so I haven't tried everything, all that I had was good. They have flat screeds with games running. There is an indoor area and a separate screened in area that is enclosed with windows and heated in the winter. The inside room is warmer.

I claim to be an expert on pork tenderloin sandwiches. I worked as a car hop for a restaurant long before Lucky dog. We used to sell 2 tons of pork tenderloin every year. At that time, you could get a truckers special. One pork Tenderloin Sandwich, French Fries, Salad, Cup of coffee, and a Piece of Apple Pie for $1.65 plus tip. Lucky Dog makes them the same way we made them. You cannot go wrong. Just be hungry or make sure you get a doggy bag. Great place to eat.

This is a small place. The locals go here to eat. The food is very good and the portions generous. They have excellent and very big tenderloin sandwiches. The prices are reasonable. It is well worth the effort to search and find this little out of the way restaurant.

This may be the only attractive restaurant in town. We stopped in for dinner on the recommendation of a local resident. My wife raved about the Rueben Sandwich, though it was a little skimpy with the sauerkraut it had a huge amount of meat. The Greek Moussaka that I ordered from the unexpectedly small Greek portion of the menu was rather different from what I have seen at other restaurants. It did have a combination of eggplant, meat, and spices--but I would be hard pressed to say it was layered and seemed to be more of an undistinguished mix. Instead of a top layer that covers the entire dish, it had small strips at intervals. Recognizing the there are many regional variations of this dish, I should add that it did taste good. The server was very good, friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and efficient. We will be back.

We went here on a tuesday night. Great view of the river! We ate inside because all the outdoor tables were taken. We started with the nachos which we totally enjoyed! My mother-in law got the fish sandwich, she liked it but thought the fish serving was a little thin. My husband had the Brisket Philly which he said was really good. I tried the brisket and was surprised by the the smokey flavor and moistness of it. Most brisket I have tried have been dry and have more of a liquid smoke flavor to it. This was really good.! They both had the River Chips with their meals and they were also good. Their meals also came with this white sauce that had a awesome spicy flavor! I had their tenderloin. I tend to order tenderloins at different places and their's ranks up there with a few of the best I have had! We live in Morton and this was worth the drive! Good selection of beers also!
