Last evening I stopped in for a drink and small plates with friends after listening to music on the street. We were not able to get an outside table but went into the bar area. At first we were disappointed but it suited our needs wonderfully. We enjoyed cocktails, wine, and small plates with an outstanding bartender/server. Looking forward to stopping in for lunch or dinner after the crowds leave.

There are few choices in this area. Dockside has a limited menu. Instead of chips they serve taco chips on all dishes, It has a wonderful sunset view. A reasonable place for a burger and beer, but I wouldn't drive out of my way for it.

Every time we come to our annual Ellsworth winter trip, we stop once for a morning breakfast here. Yummy food, cheap prices (all a donation for a total volunteer run place that serves the communities less fortunate! The back of the menu explains it beautifully). Nothing fancy what so ever. My kinda place. If you love small towns and being part of another purpose besides feeding your face, please come here!!! P.S. Just my recommendation..... Pay the recommended price, and then tip generously.

I believe this restaurant is the only breakfast place in Bellaire. We could have gone to McDonalds but we decided to try this place out. The service was rather slow but not to bad. The menu looked good but what we ordered was so so. If we were in town longer we might of gone back to try something else.

This was by far the best meal we had all week - not just in Bellaire but in Northern Michigan. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wife said her Pecan Crusted Salmon was the best she ever had. The service was awesome and the prices were reasonable.
We were there mid afternoon and had the cherry chicken salad with nursery-grown greens that was delightful. The cafe is in an outbuilding adjacent to the main nursery building with a large outdoor patio seating area amongst the plants and flowers.. They have a short lunch menu of salads, burgers, wraps ,salads etc, supplemented by dinner-time wood-fired pizzas and grill offerings. Wine, hard cider, and beer are offered, and live music is featured several nights a week we learned. Much of the ingredients are locally sourced and the emphasis is on healthful food. A real eclectic experience, and we wish we could have returned for dinner.

Just visited the meadery. No offense but not my cup of tea. I am not a big craft fan but the Local Light was delicious after the mead. Our server was excellent our food was good, not great as advertised. My fault. I had the mushroom pizza and a pizza needs meat.

Torch Lake Cafe is an American restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The cafe offers a wide selections of foods including pizzas and flatbreads and has a full service bar.
The extensive and varied menu had something for everyone from creative, fine cuisine to bar favorites like the Olive Burger, a staple up north. (Pair with duck fries.) The delicious rainbow trout had a lovely mahogany finish. Quite Instagram-worthy! Portions are generous and the service is professional, yet friendly. (We had the pleasure of attending a private, exquisitely prepared, 8 course dinner catered by Chef Cat the night before. Yes, we were so impressed we headed to the restaurant the next night!) Anxious to try breakfast & lunch.

Locally owned and operated business with a full menu and bar, outdoor tiki beer, pub style bar located downstairs and 7 rooms for rental. Daily specials Wednesday thru Sunday.
Slow Terrible service, warm flat draft beer- for two different draft beers! The tater tot appetizer was good. The fish fry (haddock) came out hot but there was too much breading on the fish for my husband and my taste. Overall we were very disappointed and will not be returningWere very sorry you didn't enjoy your visit, our haddock special is one of our most popular specials, we would have been happy to remake the dish or even get you something else from our menu. We were experiencing some difficulties with our drafts system and have called in maintenance to rectify the issue, We truly hope you change your mind and give us another chance. Our crab stuffed walleye is a great choice if someone doesn't enjoy the beer battered fish.
