Gorgeous September day, Sunday afternoon lunch while exploring the area for a 2020 summer rental. Steak tips were tasty and not tough, sweet corn was sweet, fish tacos were delicious. Potato salad with the tips and their presentation could be improved. Our waiter was upbeat and efficient. We would go back again when we're in the area. Deck seating was pleasant.

Fabulous Lunch! Went for a ride to enjoy the foliage and stopped at the Lake House for Lunch. My husband had a Margarita (very good)& I had a bottle of their Saratoga Springs Sparkling Water with Fresh Lime, very nice. We both ordered the House Special Baked Fish. Wonderful dish topped with Lobster, served in a cream sauce with Fingerling Potatoes & Asparagus on the side. Wonderful presentation with great taste. If you like Seafood this is a must try. Waitress was friendly & Efficient. atmosphere lovely. Parking is usually difficult but worth the effort to eat here. They have a call ahead number to get you on the wait list before you leave home (603 279 5221) Tell the hostess when you arrive.

Fell in love with this mom&pop feels, breakfast place. Located inside the Mills Falls hotel/marketplace area. Upstairs from the amazing candy store. The menu is plentiful, burrito specials are on point. Lovely breakfast spot and reasonable prices. Window tables have view of the Falls.Small place but worth a short wait on the weekends. It is great to read you had an enjoyable visit and thank you for your recognition.

I love diners. Just something about the lack of pretension and good down-home food that I really appreciate. George's really looks the part. Nice personable staff. I was rather disappointed with the food however. I had the fried chicken special. Breading on the chicken was completely tasteless. Chicken itself was ok. Soupy mashed potatoes and bland green beans. Red velvet cake was ok but frosting was runny and not very good. If I were to go back, I would try something off the regular menu vs the daily specials or maybe breakfast.

Unfortunately, Pat's overcooks their fried clams. A shame really, especially given that "Seafood" is supposed to be a specialty. With the price of clams these days, you don't want a plate of dark dried out crisps. Maybe if they changed their oil more frequently? I want a golden clam with a juicy belly for my $25. Service is lackadaisical. Beast thing going for the place is the draft beer specials, 'tho, unfortunately, not enough to bring me back.

We came here to eat outside on the lake not expecting the food to be as good as it was. The Reuben sandwich was hot with melted cheese, pastrami, thousand island, and sauerkraut. The sandwich was a good sized portion. The burgers were cooked well and the fries were tasty and crispy. The menu has so many sandwich options and you can also build your own sandwich. You can get drinks out of the cooler like soda and Snapple. They also serve beer and wine. Great ourdoor seating! We would definitely come back here for a good lunch again.

Our family visited this restaurant during our vacation. The positive of this review was the food. It was very good and plentiful. However, the negative was the service and atmosphere. Our family arrived on a Friday night, around 4:45. The restaurant was fairly empty at this point. The hostess greeted us and then proceeded to seat us in the bar area. Our table was about 5 feet from the bar. There were 5 or 6 people at the bar itself already. Being a Friday night, the number of people in the bar area multiplied quickly. We could not hold a simple conversation at our table without screaming at each other. We get this situation, given the number of people, but what we donât accept is having to listen to a handful of adults dropping F-bombs amongst many other colorful words and conversations with our 7 year old daughter sitting there. That IS NOT a family atmosphere type of restaurant. We complained to the hostess, but she could not have cared less. We watched other families come in and get seated in the dining room. Not one other family was seated in the bar. Lastly was our waitress and her service. She was very inattentive and cold. She took our order, delivered it and then never came back until it was dessert/bill time. The restaurant was busy and we get that many times the staff is being pulled in many directions. However, this waitress spent a lot of time standing at the end of the bar watching TV. She was within 8 feet of out table and walked by occasionally. Our drink glasses never received refills until we flagged her down. Overall, the food was good, but we are extremely unhappy with our daughter asking us now what the people at the bar âmeantâ in their colorful conversations. Not the atmosphere we expected in a family restaurant. We definitely will not return here.

Fisherman's Platter was all previously frozen then fried, nasty tasting seafood. Steak tips couldn't be chewed so tough couldn't even eat them, asked for medium on the tips they came out rare. Red bliss potatoes under cooked and hard as rocks. The only good thing about the meal was the coleslaw. NEVER EVER AGAIN , & WOULDN'T RECOMMEND to anyone, the worst food I have ever eaten in NH in my 44 years of residency here.

Friendly staff, great food, huge selection ! Iâm an oatmeal and English muffin gal for breakfast, but my husband is an omelet-lovinâ fool. He LOVES their omelets! Itâs a clean, spacious diner that lots of locals and tourists alike eat at. Theyâre open for lunch, too, but not for dinnerâ which is a shame! Donât change a thing. Keep doing what youâre doing! â¤ï¸

We came here after exploring Castle in the Clouds and needed a good/quality meal. Iâd call this place fine dining food that you donât have to dress up too much for. We got the flatbread, bacon wrapped scallops, salad, drinks and dessert. Great food and cocktails and NH beer on tap. Service was good and prices reasonable. Note we went on a weeknight after Labor Day, so we were able to be seated right away and were served relatively quickly. That may not be the case on the weekends in July/August so take that into account when you decide to show up with a large party on a weekend during the height of tourist season.
