Finally stopped in here today after passing it for 6 years every time we go thru Manitou. Decor is plain trending towards kitschy. Menu is typical. My wife had chicken fried steak (decent) and I had the chili rejenos (okay). Everything was made exactly as requested though, including eggs over medium and extra crispy of the hash browns.Hostess and our server are clearly pros. (I almost said old pros, but neither was above 25.) kept things moving at the front of the house and with the checkout. Server let us know the food would take a couple extra minutes because the kitchen was just pumping out all the orders for the Ft Carson troops. Kept our coffees refilled just before they hit the bottom. There are better places around town, but you won't regret checking this one out.

Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, at 7800 ft, in the town of Green Mountain Falls, the Mucky Duck Restaurant has been serving fine cuisine since 2001. Whether it is a cozy dinner for two or a gathering for a large group, the Mucky Duck can
My wife and I ordered the affordable entree, Chicken Marsala, but were told it was all sold out. I substituted the much more expensive rack of lamb, which was mostly fat and gristle. Desert saved the meal--peach bread pudding, very good. This place seemed understaffed. Slow service.

Locally sourced produce, beef and bakery. Our meat is ground in-house with a flavor of international borders.
The service was ok. Tables around us threatened to leave due to food taking to long. They have specialty burgers so are good if you like getting creative with your toppings. We sat outside which was good but all the umbrellas overlap each other and you have to watch yourself to not run into them. It would also be hard for a wheelchair to get around as closely packed in as they are.

We stopped in here for lunch on the recommendation of a local and we were not disappointed. Excellent wings (ask for extra crispy!) and onion rings. The pizza by the slice is a great choice. Our server was super attentive and friendly. Four people for lunch with 2 appetizers and a beer for under $50.00 in a tourist town!

We drink only craft beers so were super excited to find a brewery in the small downtown Manitou Springs area. Tried a porter, hazy and wheat beer and they all were pretty blah and not really good enough to stay ....

We were walking around town looking for dinner and stopped here. Looks like nothing special from the outside but we were hooked by the Wednesday night special 2 for $24. She had surf and turf. Tasty steak , nice shrimp. Excellent. I had salmon fillet rice and broccoli. Salmon really tasty . Excellent. Good friendly service. Around $38 inclusive. 2 beers excluding tip. Give it a try you wonât be sorry.

The Cliff House Dining Room has gained national renown as one of Coloradoâs premier dining destinations. We are proud recipients of the distinguished DiRoNa Award and the 4 Diamond Award in Fine Dining from AAA.
I generally donât eat where I sleep on the theory that hotel restaurants have a built-in clientele that doesnât require them to compete for customers with their food or service. I ate breakfast at the hotel because it was included in the room rate. It included a pretty nice hot and cold buffet, but was missing an omelet station. For convenience, we also ate lunch there one afternoon and dinner there one night. The wine list was impressive. The food was good but not memorable. The luncheon soups were better than the salads. All in all, good food and good service.

What a great restaurant. Old school food and memorabilia from the 50s and 60s. The food was excellent. We had the Bratwurst and the burger. The bratwurst was very tasty and the burger was stuffed with cheese inside. The food was very good and the pecan chocolate pie and homemade ice cream were perfect. Thank you for the step back in time. A nice memory.

Love eating here...especially breakfast. Their sliced potatoes and sausage gravy is high on my list of things I love. And the cinnamon/raisin toast is to die for. Been coming here for about 25 years...through several changes in management...still on of my favorite places to eat. Down home atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good service....in a simple, relaxed setting.

Nestled at the foot of Pikes Peak in Cascade, Colorado, The Wines of Colorado is an unheralded, romantic oasis and an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Colorado Springs. True to its name, the restaurant, tasting room, retail wine sales and gift shop, all
Loved eating outdoors by the creek and sipping sangria. Enjoyed a wonderful salad, spaghetti & meatballs in the mountain air. Sampled many fantastic wines and selected a bottle of Riesling to take back to our campsite. Great dining experience, a few deer even joined us by the water for their evening meal.
