An Asheville favorite since 2003, Sunny Point Café serves award-winning upscale comfort food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Craft cocktails, beers and wines are available to enjoy with meals. Sunny Point Café is a family-owned and operated West Ashevill
I had heard of this place but finally visited on my list trip to Asheville. Why did I wait so long!there is a good chance you will have a wait for your table but coffee and pleasant surroundings are provided. Our server took non- standard orders from our party of 9 from memory. No mistakes! The food was all freshly cooked and serving size allowed us to remember the place once again when having a late night snack. AND you can bring your dog!

While weâd consider our cuisine âAmericanâ to reflect a melting pot of beautiful diversity, we emphasize global or âof the continentsâ as the muse for our menu. We start with the absolute best possible locally sourced ingredients and then mix in some crea
WOW! A very unassuming storefront restaurant in West Asheville, you would never expect the quality of food and reasonableness of the wine list that youâll get at Jargon. A small Southern menu, with interesting appetizers (shareable) and an eclectic wine list of broad variety. The Hushpuppies are fabulous. The shrimp and grits delicious and very reasonably priced ($17). The pear dessert is off the charts. A canât miss choice. Our wait person, Andrea, was very knowledgeable and greatly helped with our food and wine choices. A minimalist vibe and excellent food.

I'd been wanting to try this local restaurant, and so I stopped in for breakfast the other morning. Look, I'm not a negative person. I always try to find the positive in any situation. And I'm at a loss for words. The service was on the unfriendly side, the food was mediocre to poor, and the seating was uncomfortable. Okay, here's one positive - it's easy to park here. :)

where oh where to go for lunch? ah, we see the tall sign for the Cracker Barrel Store #141 and pull into the parking lot.holy moly, it was packed! so we figure we'll see how long the wait is and take it from there. "30 minutes", we are told as our name is taken. ok, not too bad and look, rocking chairs that are empty. now that my friend is a plan. we watched the people coming & going at a steady pace while rocking to our hearts content. and actually, for them being that BUSY, it was less than the time we were quoted.our name is called, and when we were being seated, every table was full. those servers worked hard that day keeping everyone happy.our food was hot, plentiful and very yummy and our server was a friendly gal.so, don't be fooled by a packed parking lot as it is so worth the wait.

Handy for several hotels, this restaurant offers an extensive menu. Service was attentive and efficient and the food was excellent and well priced. There were clearly a lot of locals here which is always a good sign. If you are coming on spec at a weekend you may have to wait.

Full Serve Restaurant
I love this place. My Dad was a truck driver and he always told us that one of the best places to eat was a truck stop restaurant because they knew that truck drivers were far from home and they needed a good meal that they could eat while they were on the road. That is true about this place. The people who work there are awesomely friendly. I have even joked that they need to rename the restaurant The Sunshine Cafe. I am not a truck driver but I eat there regularly, sometimes 4-5 times a week. The food is delicious and the salad bar has a wonderful selection. The only thing missing is meat, which I hope will be added one day.

So this restaurant sits in the center of an abandoned motel. It is easy to pass it up, but I urge you to visit. It is definately not a place with an ambiance of a fine dining establishment, but ambiance don't fill your belly. This is definately a local favorite, and for good reason. Good food at good price is always a winning combination.Food was great and plentiful. It is the kind of meal you would make for yourself. We had breakfast here, it was served hot and quick. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient.Eggs cooked as you like them, I had a ham & cheese omlette. Lots of both inside.Hash browns were as I like them; crispy outside and tender inside. Served with their white pepper gravy. Good eating.I would definately go back again and again.

Was in town to see the Biltmore. Needed a quick bite. Service was fast and friendly. Food was about average. Prices fair. Very casual place that met the need today.

Doc Brown's BBQ is a family operated BBQ joint that serves scratchmade Southern food and housemade desserts with fast and friendly service.
Went there today to meet two other friends - my first time there. The place had a number of other hungary people but there was room for us too. We had different things and it all looked good. There are choices in the foods such as 6 different kinds of slaw, ribs, brisket and a number of vegetables to accompany your meat choice.

This restaurant is not listed in T/A as open for breakfast, but we recently stopped there and had a great late breakfast. All of the food was prepared with care and a bit of innovation and the service was fantastic. We would definitely return.
