My wife and I decided to give Theodores's a try this past Saturday evening, and we were not disappointed. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is casual. The decorative style is a bit dated, but I like that. The food was fantastic! I started with the French Onion soup which was out of this world. It had just enough cheese and croutons to complement a very rich and flavorful soup.For our entrees, my wife had the broiled salmon, which she said was delicious. She had a sizable baked potato with the usual fixings, which she also enjoyed. I had the haddock stuffed with lobster, shrimp, and scallops. This was hands down one of the best stuffed haddock dinners I have ever enjoyed. The fish was light and flaky, and the stuffing was loaded with shrimp, lobster meat and scallops. There was no skimping on anything. For dessert my wife had the strawberry shortcake. The portion was large, and included fresh biscuits, a very good vanilla ice cream, loads of strawberries, and of course whipped cream. I had the bread pudding with whiskey sauce. This was also absolutely delicious. The bead pudding was firm and not soggy, with a nice combination of vanilla and caramel flavors. The whiskey sauce was perfect. Our meal also came with fresh warm bread and nice dinner salads. My wife and I enjoyed all of this deliciousness for under $55.00. We will definitely be putting Theodores's on the top of our restaurant choices from now on. I highly recommend this establishment.

If you are looking for good old fashioned home cooked food then stop by Debbie's Diner while in the Lakeport area on Route 31. Whenever breakfast, take out for dinner or dessert, the food is consistently fresh and tasty. Service is efficient and friendly. Cheeseburgers were some of the best I have had-- juicy and delicious! Oatmeal cookies are great!! Portion size is good and there often are leftovers. My husband loves the homemade soups that are rich and full of vegetables.

I had Joes chicken sandwich and it was delicious!! My husband ordered a steak medium and it came out mooing!! He won't ever send food back so he ate part of it but left quiet a bit. The prices are reasonable but our waitress was a bit rough. We were seated by Jess who was great but our waitress told us how she couldn't wait for the weekend to be over & how tired she was. Mind you we were the only ones in the place ? I doubt we will return if we are going to pay for a steak it should be better.

Johnnie's as we locals all know it, or Johnnies Pier 31 is a staple in the Canastota, Sylvan Beach area.a great view, A true family ran restaurant, It has a comfortable atmosphere, friendly and welcoming. Attentive service and the food is consistently good. A variety for all on the menu. You wont be disappointed and give them a try.

Stopped with teenage granddaughters who grew up when we weren't looking.Good food, menu fits all tastes from grandkids to grandma, Busy place, came for lunch about 1230 or so, got in.Went about 7pm Friday night, Long wait and they were waiting. Says a lot about a place, more than I can say here

We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was our first visit after reading and hearing many good things. The food is homemade and lovingly prepared and served. The bakery case was irresistible and we purchased items to take home as well. Portions were generous and the apple jam was a new experience. The friendly staff was very attentive and several inquiries were made to be sure everything was to our liking. My only complaint is that they donât serve decaf coffee, thus only 4 stars.
