Previous reviews have nailed it...the shrimp dinners were perfect; coast to coast, truly the best fried shrimp that I have ever had. Lightly "breaded" and plentiful servings were the norm. All staff were very pleasant/welcoming and Ms. Faye was VERY attentive to our party of four. I live in Maryland and was in town to visit family in Yulee...hoping to make this a stop on each of my future stays - it was THAT good. Thank you Harry V for the recommendation. : )

For those that take the 301 route through Florida may have passed through Callahan. Looking for a place to eat we saw Junior's. I know we were taking a chance but,,,, We were really impressed. The place was clean, with a no-frills ambiance. We both ordered the whiting special. I chose it fried and my wife grilled. We both ordered cole slaw. I also ordered a zucchini medley and my wife lima beans. We had green fried tomatoes as a starter. IT WAS ALL DELICIOUS. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I know this is off the beaten track but TRY IT!!!!!! I wish I lived closer!

Five of us stopped by on our Harleys ( plus one Honda ) for lunch - very clean - friendly staff - good menu - one had pulled pork - one had country fried steak and four of us had the special of a open face roast beef sandwich - I had mac & cheese & green beans with my roast beef - very good meal - the roast beef was a little tough but not overly - Brenda the waitress was fantastic and had a great sense of humor to put up with a bunch of older bikers - we all enjoyed our meals and agreed that we would stop again -

Good days and bad days at this restaurant. A quality control manager is needed to oversee food quality, customer service, and the general hour by hour operations to eliminate the bad days or poor service. Front staff is confused on orders, which leads to mistakes. Cook staff / food prep is adequate and keeps up with orders surprisingly well. There is room for improvement at the management level.
