Really good food and service. Just be prepared to wait. We stopped in on a Sunday morning with 4-6 other patrons already seated (i.e. fairly quiet), and we waited 30-40 minutes after ordering for our food to arrive. If it's a weekday, go for it. Otherwise, I'd consider other nearby options.

It's nice when there's a new place in town to try. The night I went they didn't have the air conditioning on, so it was extremely hot inside. The wait staff was very pleasant, even though they were overwhelmed with a big party that night. Every meal comes with soup, salad, and desert, which was really nice. I had the special halibut, which was rather dry, but the pesto topping was very good. I loved the decor and the big bar up front. I would definitely like to go back and try the crab stuffed walleye, and will hope that they have the AC on! It seems to get busy, so I recommend making a reservation.

We came across this place while passing thru the area. Beautiful location on the lake shore. Nice deck overlooking the lake. Lodge like feel. Varied menu, reasonable prices. Try the house spectral pizza and you won't be disappointed! Convenience store adjacent to the bar.

We started with the cheese curds and walleye fingers and cocoa. For our college runners this was day three for WI cheese curds, and day one for walleye. The appetizers were a great start, The walleye was so moist and tender. Awesome really. My crew enjoyed the experience and the relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the walleye for lunch too, and this was again very nicely prepared. Not at all greasy.

Our party of three adults stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The dining area is quite small and was almost totally occupied. It was good to see that most of the patrons were local residents. The restaurant and bath rooms were clean. There was only one server and I'm not sure but, I think only one person in the kitchen. In spite of that our food was served in a timely manner and was delicious. The portion sizes were huge and our server happily provided us with a âtake homeâ box. We look forward to returning in the future.

The food was very good! Had the fish fry, shrimp tacos and the Outsider sandwich. Death by chocolate and Creme brûlée. Cheese curds and wings. The owners have a nice set up and the servers are very nice. Mark/Sara We will be back for sure!!

Great view. An overall "good" experience. The young high-school age wait staff did a pretty good job. The food was very good. The Ram Schnitzel was outstanding. The red cabbage was perfect. The waitress did a good job with our large group. The Trout special was different because of the fresh fruit covering it but it was well prepared. The drinks were your basic supper club tumblers but not heavy pours. I'd go back again.

This place is really neat. The atmosphere of the bar and dining room make it feel so relaxed. They had Willett bourbon behind the bar and the bartender was very helpful. The menu here is quite good, we wanted to try everything. For starters we had the bluegil filets and Wisconsin cheese fondue. It turned out to be an amazing combination. Next I ordered the Bison tenderloin. It was a great tasting, very lean and irony kind of taste very similar to a venison tenderloin. It was done exactly as it should be, just to the point of medium rare. The potatoes that accompanied it were a tasty garlic mixture that went quite well with it. I also ordered a side of mushroom risotto because another person in our group ordered the pheasant breast that comes with the mushroom risotto. This was an abomination and the reason I cannot give the restaurant 5 stars. Everything was wonderful, but this seemed to be made from a box, and poorly. Otherwise what a fantastic job by the chef, I just don't know what the risotto guy in the back did...

We come here every November and again in December when we come to stay at the Garmisch Inn just a few miles down the road. We enjoy this quaint little breakfast and lunch place. They serve home cooked food here! The food and service is always good. My daughter had an breakfast burrito this last time and my son got a ham, egg, and cheese croissant. They both loved theirs, as usual! I ordered the pear stuffed French toast, for the second time in my life and enjoyed that. My husband had the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin, with a side of sausage, and loved his. We had a side of bacon and scrambled eggs as well.I also took my Mother here last May because itâs one of our favorites! She is 87 and enjoys eating out just like us! We split a sandwich and each got a cup of soup. We chose to have the homemade potato salad that they serve as an option with the sandwich and that was really good. This is a place you must try! We originally heard of it because it was featured on the Food Network on Diners Drive ins and Dives, and Guy Fieri came here!
