This pub has it all. A very clean relaxing atmosphere, fresh cooked meals and a large selection of brewed and distilled spirits.Great sandwiches and entrees. Homemade soups and stews. A very friendly family oriented pub.
Having spent a long vacation traveling, we wanted to go someplace to relax, talk, listen to some music, great food and drinks. The Wife suggested Doc's Pub Irish Sports Bar. We drove to the pub the parking lot looked full. Suddenly this man (later found out he works there) is pointing to park in a place I did not see. This space was right by the door, good sign. Walked in and this was an Irish Pub with updates (TVs, pool table) of a sports bar. We were welcomed by a young lady with a smile, pleasant presentation (Beth) who became our server and bar tender. Beth took our drink order and drinks were in front of us no time. Beth had a great knowledge of the Menu and answered all our questions. The wife and daughter order Irish Nachos (have never heard Irish Nachos ) with corned beef on the side. I order a (non Irish) chicken cheese steak. I wanted fried onions and was open to suggestions of what kind of cheese, Beth suggested provolone. Our food order given and drinks in front of us, we started to listen to the Band. These three guys (Belfast Connection) were great , not to loud, not to soft, great choice of Irish songs, brining the customers in with clapping, singing along and great presentation. The wife's order came first, I must admit it looked good. Both the wife and daughter started eating . I heard nothing but good things about the food presentation, taste, and corn beef on the side was a great addition. My chicken cheese stake arrived and was in the middle of singing (of course off key) so casually reached over and took a bite. Now my taste buds gave me notice to stop singing and go back for another bite. This was one the best chicken cheese steaks I have had in a long time. Beth came over to check on how our food order and I proclaimed how much we enjoyed our food. Beth said she will tell the cook and had the pleasure to meet him and tell him how I enjoy his cooking. I did reach over (at my own risk) to steal some of Irish Nachos. I now know why the ladies were so happy. All in all this night out was a total pleasure. I tip my hat to the owner, and the staff oh how to make a great evening. The wife stated this Pub is our new Irish place to go. Great Job

We celebrated Valentine's Day at Jule's @ Market. We had never been there before. Our welcome was luke-warm. We were pointed to our table, rather than shown to our table. Seating was cramped. The tables were very close together with very little wiggle room between them. There was no privacy or intimacy. The seats were hard with no padding. We started off by sharing an appetizer - avocado toast - which was good - although, the shrimp had very little flavor & avocado was the dominant flavor. We then shared a beet salad - which was delicious. For our entrees - Hubby had the halibut - I had the beef tenderloin - and, we ordered 2 sides - garlic smashed potatoes & snap peas. My tenderloin was served to me in bite size slices/pieces - like I was a toddler who needed my meat cut up for me! I'm assuming, the chef took the liberty of doing this, because I had ordered it well-done. It was beyond weird & it was NOT appreciated, at all.We shared a dessert which they called Bananas Singapore - it was ok. It was either that or berries - which we often have at home.

It's kind of hard to describe Geraghty's because it's really a matter of your perception. We like it, but we never know what to expect, and that's not everyone's cup of tea.For example, it's kind of dark in there. One could find that cozy or simply find it dark. I think it's a good place to have a casual meal with my husband and my adolescent son after work -- nothing fancy, more in the pub-grub category. It's not uncommon to see a group of friends clustered around a table for beer and wings and watching a game, but my parents would probably see it more as a bar than a restaurant. To be honest, I'm not sure my parents would get past the front door. It opens smack-dab onto the bar. Diners must then walk the length of the long row of stools around the island bar to get to the dining area -- and you have to know that there is a dining area in order to find it, which isn't readily apparent from the front door. Some older (or just non-drinking) folks might be put off by that, and some parents are uncomfortable taking their child into a bar. It always makes me think of that Reese Witherspoon movie "Sweet Home Alabama," when she says, upon running into a high school classmate back home, "Look at you . . you have a baby . . . in a bar."There is also no hostess, and it's rare that the bartender greets the guest as they walk in to see if they are looking for a table or just a seat at the bar. I know it felt a little awkward for us on first time there, thinking we were going to a restaurant and seeing nothing but a typical bar until we ventured deeper into the building. While you're up there though, check out the specials boards for seasonal beers and special items, which can be an unexpected treat. There is a side door on Washington Ave, closer to where most people park (street parking is free in that area), and the side door opens directly into the dining room. If I were bringing my parents, for example, I'd take them in that door instead of the front. At most places that we frequent, I have a go-to meal that I always order. Although we've eaten at this place on a regular basis for the last 5 years, I do not have a specific favorite. Why? Because they keep changing out the chefs, which usually results in a menu change. That's fine if you enjoy variety, but not so much if you were counting on your favorite. I've learned that it's best to just go to Geraghty's without any pre-conceived expectations, kind of like that fickle friend that you've had for years, and you like them when you hang out, but you don't know exactly what to expect the next time. The food is generally good, the waitstaff is nice enough, and the prices are reasonable. The best part of Geraghty's (and the one they don't tap into enough, in my opinion) is their nice patio out back. When we've had a chance to eat out there, it totally elevates the meal.Unfortunately, NJ weather doesn't allow this option year-round, and even on beautiful evenings, we've had to go inside by default because there was no service out there. It's kind of a shame that such a wonderful outdoor space is relegated to simply providing a seat for smokers needing a fix when it could be earning money in food and drink sales if more attention was paid to the area.Overall, we like this place. You just need to give it a chance to get past a few foibles.

My friend and I went here for her birthday.I had not heard about Curtinâs. I found it on google. We enjoyed the live music, the good, reasonably priced food but I loved the view the best. What a hidden gem!Itâs only open in the summer so go while you can!

We visit Blue Claw when my mom comes to visit. The crabs are delicious and the service is hospitable. On this visit, we showed up without a reservation and were seated within ten minutes of having everyone in our party arrive. We ordered 3lbs of the King Crab legs and got our New England clam chowder immediately. It was served with oyster crackers and horseradish. The chowder was divine-thick and creamy and flavorful. We ordered the crabs without any seasoning and we got 5 legs for the 3lbs. The shells were actually a bit rubbery so they were not able to be broken with our hands; we had to ask for a mallet and scissors. Usually, rubbery shells means they have been cooked too long. The crab tasted fine but for $125, I would have expected them to taste out of this world. We should have gone with the snow crab for $50 less.We also go fried mushrooms which came to the table super hot and served with a creamy horseradish sauce, which was good. The service was attentive and the bathroom wasn't totally disgusting. Overall, a very good experience and I know I'll be back the next time my mom comes to town.

Ok. They earned a 5 in my book. Iâm rating it on diners.First, the omelette selection is extraordinary. Itâs not a half-a$$ed offering. Imaginative and quite filling.Iâm not an omelette guy, but holy cow, these are delicious with mega variety. Iâm an âAmyâs Omelette Houseâguy now.I had the chili dog omelette. Large Sausages and cheese folded in the omelette and Chili on top. It was a real meal. Home fries were done right, they were mixed with onions and peppers. Man, it was G-O-O-D !!Wife had the pancakes and eggs with sausage and bacon. Bacon was cooked very good, sausage good, eggs and pancakes good. The sausage is impressive, not wimpy littles ones.Interior of diner is a flashback to the past, plenty of tables and counter service as well. Place is very clean, owner does a great job keeping the place clean and maintained. They decorate for the different holidays and have nik nacks around adding a little nostalgia and character. Oh, the staff and manager were topsDefinitely going back with the rest of my family

The King George II Inn established in 1681 is on the National Historic Registry as one of the oldest continuously operated Inns. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week with a view of the Delaware River from 2 of our 5 dining rooms. Join us!
Have been coming here for years and we are never disappointed. Food and service are consistently the best! Since the new owners took over several uears ago, the quality is amazing. Everything is fresh and entree portions are large. Our waitress, Denise, was very engaging and efficient. Full menu service for lunch and dinner. Several dining areas, including a bar area with some table seating. Nice to sit in either the downstairs or upstairs rooms with a river view. There is a limited menu on nights when the Bristol Riverfront Theater has performances, but the options are plentiful and excellent. We split a Pecan Pear Salad to begin. The salad was large enough for both of us to enjoy a hearty portion. I opted for the fresh catch, which was red snapper. Served with rice pilaf or buttermilk mashed and quite a large amount of fresh, not overcooked, broccoli. It was excellent and quite a bit to eat. Hubs opted for a pasta and shrimp dish, equally as good. We ended by sharing a small, but wonderful lemon/lime tartlett. Many diners were taking home doggie bags. Definitely recommend eating here.

We were greeted with a hearty hello and a warm smile from our waitress, Samantha. Samantha was very attentive and patient while we wrestled with our order as everything sounded good. My friend ordered the filet mignon sandwich, without cheese, however he got the cheese - not that he doesn't like cheese he just didn't want it - he still really enjoyed his sandwich. Meanwhile his wife and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. While all the sandwiches came with a side of french fries, the pulled pork came with a good and very tasty portion of cole slaw - something I rarely eat - which made the pulled pork taste even better as it added a little crunch to the sandwich, We also ordered a side of their macaroni & cheese, which was creamy and delicious. I am looking forward to visiting this place again and try something else, especially their nachos which looked very appetizing.
