We are family owned restaurant that provides classic Diner food. We believe in good food from great people and enjoy serving our customers each and every day.
Ordered one waffle (think hotel breakfast waffle) and wife ordered omelet. No toast included with omelet order; only with extra charge. Based on amount of food received vs. cost, in my opinion it was overpriced. However, I will give compliments on staff and cleanliness of location.John,I am sorry about your experience and my delayed response. With our omelet, toast and potatoes are included. You may have substituted Fruit or pancakes or French Toast for your potatoes and bread.Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,Lloyd Nichols

Clear Springs Seafood Restaurant is a standout. An authentic restaurant located on Broadway. Clear Springs serves up a variety of western specialties including delicious seafood, steaks and hearty burgers. Don't forget about our World Famous Onion Rings.
If the food at Clear Springs represents good food in Tyler, I truly feel terrible for it's residents and visitors. Tried this establishment based on reviews here and on Yelp, and left seriously disappointed. As a party of one, the meal usually flows quickly and efficiently, but that was not the case here. Although I was seated quickly and approached by the server immediately, my entree took almost 45 minutes to arrive. I had the queso chicken, which the server praised, but it was obviously microwaved and then grilled. The chicken was rubbery and the poor excuse for queso was cheese out of a jar. The rice must have been microwaved as well because it was chewy, hard, and crusty at the same time, oddly enough. I could go further, but the point has been made. A poor experience through and through.

The Stand is the restaurant that emerges when the mouth-watering tastes of a big-city hot dog joint meet culinary creativity, cleanliness, Southern hospitality, and the character of an historic east Texas facility.
Hotdogs are such a happy food. This little place is spotlessly clean and the staff makes everyone feel welcome. It is the perfect place to take grandkids for kid friendly lunch. They will even put mac and cheese on their hotdogs. They have a blackboard with a verse of the day. It is just wonderful.

Order whatever sounds good from the menu and you won't be disappointed. Burgers, chicken, fish, steaks, salads, or seafood selections are carefully prepared and are all delicious. This is definitely our favorite restaurant in Tyler.

We live near this restaurant but never tried it. We stopped this past Saturday morning. My wife and I enjoyed a very tasty breakfast. We both had omeletteâs. She had the biscuits while I had toast. Omelette was cooked perfectly with the right amount of ingredients. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
A small hole in the wall but large menu. Catfish, shrimp, chicken fried steak, and burgers. I never eat the fish without asking where its from and they said "America"........no place in particular, just America. Usually a restaurant can tell you exactly where their seafood comes from, but not here. I figured they got their seafood from a company in America, but the fish itself was most likely from overseas. I passed on the seafood! Ate the Hondo Burger and the wife had chicken fried steak. The Hondo Burger is a double meat, all the fixins, including bacon, cheese, jalapenos, onions, lettuce and pickles. Its a bit smaller than your average burger and pretty steep on the price as well. After about two bites, the entire bun was soaked in grease and I had to eat it, minus bun, with a knife and fork. Hamburger patties were totally overcooked. I quit after I got about 1/2 of the way through it. My wife had two small chicken fried steak patties that were mostly crust and light on the meat. Again, nothing to brag about and it tasted pretty bland. The mashed potatoes were hard and smothered in white gravy (maybe to cover them up from sight?). Tasted like they looked......hard and bland. Service was average and you dont have to bus your own table as they do it for you. However, they dont wipe down the tables very well so plan on wiping it down yourself when you pick a table. I also understand all the meat products to be fully halal. I wont be back! There is a great burger joint a couple miles down the road called Legends, where they cut their meat fresh each day and hand press their hamburger patties. So skip this place and go there.

The food was decent but the service was absolutely terrible! To begin with I asked for a recommendation on what to order. I ordered and a few minutes later my server came by and told me they were out of what I ordered. I changed my selection and My order was not correct - I ordered chopped beef and got sliced brisket. Service was so bad I had to go find a knife to cut my brisket. I also had to get my own refill of tea - twice. The cook and server seemed totally oblivious and were bantering back and forth in the back loudly. I would recommend NOT going to this establishment.

This place is the real deal for a hamburger lover. Big hand formed patties like the eight ounce patty. They serve it open faced on a fresh bun then a buffet of fixins you load on. If you donât like your burger itâs because you donât know how to make one. Friendly, fast and priced just right ... donât drive by it. This is a âjointâ that you will think you discovered.

Members of my family ordered steak and sea food dish stated all was wonderful --I ordered crab cakes which was average . Service excellent but waitress was very talkative. I've never eaten at a restaurant that added taxes onto check --I don't know what this was about. We had a party of six ---a gratuity was added on without us knowing about this because we did not receive an itemized check at end of meal . My husband added a tip unto check besides the 20% gratuity added by restaurant ( no where on the menu or anywhere else was this posted ) so be aware . At most restaurants gratuity is not added unless the party is 8 or greater. Before being seated for meal I was asked for drivers license ---never has this been done at any restaurant that I've eaten at in the past ---kinda cheesy
