Another well deserved 5-star review. Our last meal during our vacation to Maine. Why 5-stars?-gracious and genuine hospitality.-incredible decor. It's like I walked into a magazine spread. I wanted everything including the colors on the walls!-A bathtub in the bathroom with flowers-whimsical and it made me smile-a Duncan Phyfe couch in our dining room. And yes I took a little lay-down before dessert. -generous portions and flavors to remember. Even with a limited menu you can find something to eat here. I'm a vegetarian and I enjoyed the pasta with goat cheese. -owners came out to greet us. My fiancé and my best friend's fiancé are restaurant owners and chefs and it was really cool to see them all talking and interacting. Such incredible owners. -they're going to convert one of the rooms into a bar in the near future. Yay!-the signature margarita with pickled blueberries. No need to go to Mexico. The best is right here. -Dessert. just save room. We were so full but the guys ordered two desserts for the table. I was like "out of my way..."We're supposed to get married next year. Haven't found the right venueThinking about this one for a destination!

Amazing lunch and amazing coffee. They even had sandwiches specifically geared towards kids tastes. My kids absolutely loved their sandwiches and wanted more. I love how they sell organic food and use organic milk in their coffee drinks. We will definatley be back. Make sure you try the tuna fish sandwich and the Hawaiian even if you are by yourself.

Spent a lot of time at Glennâs last year and will be returning again this season. The food is excellent quality, homemade with some neat twists on dishes. Stuffed haddock dinner is my personal favorite. Often with a top shelf margarita on the rocks. You WONT be disappointed! Fantastic owner and waitstaff, very very clean.....a semi-private area is available, as well as separate bar area. Can park over in Rite Aid as lot is often full.

Friars' Brewhouse Taproom is owned and operated by an actual religious community of friars. The friars brew the beer that they serve. They also bake all of the breads that their sandwiches are made on. Every day they create a homemade soup that pairs perf
Read the TA reviews and sounded like a find. It was. Great food, beer and service...the holy trinity for a great experience. The lobster roll deserves the accolades for sure. My wife had the soup of the day...chicken veg which was delish in its own right. Donât think you can go wrong and the beer was great as well. Seeing a chef in full monk garb is unique in its own right.

Located in the center of downtown Bucksport in the historic Bradley Block building, just a short walk from the town dock. MacLeod's has been a landmark restaurant in the midcoast area for over 30 years specializing in fresh seafood and aged steaks and com
Three of us on a motorcycle trip to Acadia National Park from our homes in South Carolina were fortunate to be staying at the Fort Knox Inn across the street from MacLeodâs. We were told it was the best place for dinner and it was. Our server Haley was fantastic and made sure the two rookie lobster eaters were not disappointed. The lobsters and sides were great. We enjoyed the food and Haley so much, we went back the next night. We asked to be seated in Haleyâs section again. Her suggestion to try the fish tacos was perfect. Definitely the best Iâve ever had. We were very pleased to find MacLeodâs. Thanks, Steve! Haley is our executive âlobster picker-in-Chief.â Glad our team knocked it out of the park two nights in a row! Be sure to look us up on your next trip.
