Stopped here on our way from Cherokee to the Deep Creek section of the GSMNP. Pulled into one of the carports. Pushed the button & waited a few minutes for a voice to come over the loud speaker. Placed our order for 2 regular cheeseburger, 1 double cheeseburger, 2 orders of fries, 1 order of baked beans and a side of bread (not toasted) and jelly. We also ordered a strawberry shake. Once we placed our order, we decided to get our and walk down by the river. Here we took in the sites for a moment before deciding to use the restroom to wash up before dining. It probably took a good 25 minutes to get our order! Once we did, everything looked good. Burgers were excellent. They are NOT large. They are the size you would expect from most fast food establishments. I opted for the double cheeseburger and felt it was the best option. Fries were OK. They were NOT as warm as I would have liked. Baked beans were good. They taste like standard Bush Beans from a can. Our bread that we asked for PLAIN instead of TOAST, came out toasted. Thank goodness our little one was happy with the toast instead of the jelly sandwich we were prepared to make. Strawberry shake was good, but not amazing. It tastes like a fast food shake...perhaps like a DQ shake. It has a somewhat artificial flavor to it. Overall, I was a little disappointed in our trip to Na-Bers. We had been here before...ages ago & were so looking forward to our meals here. Burgers were excellent and the beans were good. However, the fries were almost inedible...terrible. We ended up throwing out both orders of fries. I also did NOT like having to wait 25 minutes for FAST food style meals. Staff was not overly friendly either. Prices on the other hand were CHEAP. For around $20 were fed our entire family. Bottom Line: Go for the burgers, the nostalgia of a being at drive-in restaurant and the water view, but be prepared to wait a white for your food.

We are a family owned and operated all American steak and seafood restaurant that specializes in hand pattied beef, buffalo, and elk burgers, hand cut steaks, and fresh seafood. Since we opened in 1978 in Tampa Florida by my father, we have been believers
Visited Jimmy Mac's for dinner on Sunday October 6th...Seated immediately and greeted by server...lots of hungry people there...Could tell some had been awaiting food for bit. Ordered placed for Filet Mignon, grilled vegetables, and baked potato and N.Y. Strip Steak, salad, and baked potato. We also ordered coffee and tea and somehow these got lost along the way! Inquired about beverages and finally delivered. The food arrived hot, and appealing to eye and palate...Service was good. We know in advance when we dine here it is worth the wait. We will be back!

We stopped in for lunch. All of us ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. Friendly staff. Seemed like a family run business. They have limited hours, looked like some nights they either close early or aren't open. Good lunch option

The Fryemont Inn Dining Room serves a full country breakfast and dinner and has a full service bar. Your choice of 18 different dinner entrees are served with homemade soup, salad with homemade dressing, three special side dishes of the day--served family
My husband & I had an end of summer getaway in Bryson City. For a special meal we ate at Fryemont. Itâs a 4 course meal that was delicious & I felt reasonably priced. (Around $50 not including tip). My husband enjoyed pecan crusted Trout & I had grilled chicken tapenade. The menu included lamb, prime rib & steak. Dessert was all made in-house and with 7 choices, the decision was hard. I had blackberry cobbler & my husband had peach cobbler. Both were delicious. We hope to eat here again. Reservations are recommended. Take time to see the hotel lobby & view from the veranda.

Formerly the Cork and Bean, our philosophy at the Bistro at the Everett Hotel, is to "Eat with Integrity â Live with Gratitude." Our intention is to carefully and continuously craft a menu that allows you to have as close of a relationship with your food
We were lucky on our hiking tour of the Smoky Mountains with Wildlands Trekking to both stay and Dine at The Everett Hotel. Itâs a convivial Dining Room on the Ground Floor adjacent to the bar. Six to ten local beers on tap or an assortment of cocktails and a menu that was aggressively showing off local producers. The appetizers were very good, especially the trout cakes and dates wrapped in bacon. One nights entree, the seared trout was just too busy with extras to showcase the local trout enough. The next nights meatloaf was pure comfort food and oversized enough to allow leftovers for breakfast the next morning..scrambled with eggs. Take your after dinner drink up to the roof top fire pit and enjoy the night air and the cookies left out for self service.
