As the title says, bring a Flashlight. This place is seriously dark! I had to use the light on my phone in order to read the menu.Food is average - bring salt. I don't auto-condiment, but here there was definitely no salt on the food - even on the peppered steak. Food order was wrong, and the fish was..fishy. They corrected both of these, but having to send back a meal is a pain, because it means that one person is still eating while everyone else has finished. I felt that the prices were a little over the top. It may be the finest in Bowling Green, Kentucky, but Bowling Green, Kentucky is a small place.

Goodness is what itâs all about at Wild Eggs! The veggie skillet was spot on for this recently converted Vegetarianâjust hold the egg and add avocado. Light and bright interior, staff was welcoming, food was fast and delicious. Pancakes were spectacular, our waitress was able to accommodate our request for almond milk in the coffee. Keep it up, Wild Eggs.

Nice restaurant with good atmosphere. Ordered the dog dish nachos which were just okay. Even though I love nachos and understand they are naturally somewhat messy, these were just slopped together. Lots of cold tortilla chips with burned edges on the sides and top of a (real) dog dish with some toppings that I made my way through only to discover loads of gloppy goo on the bottom covering saturated chips. Yuck. Also, not a fan of the sausage topping. Regardless, I would have enjoyed my lunch more had it been constructed with a bit more thought and care. The service was attentive and good.

Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky's historic downtown district, The Bistro welcomes you to one-of-a-kind dining. The two-story restored 1893 Fletcher House plays host to both first rate meals and service whether you are enjoying dinner for two in the res
When you are in the mood for a nice meal and you donât want to settle for something down and dirty, I highly recommend âThe Bistroâ. The Bistro is nestled right in the heartbeat of Bowling Green and it is in this little quaint house. You walk in and you are immediately greeted by the host. It is best that you call in for reservation so you donât have to wait to be seated. My wife and I were seated and handed our menus. Our server (Dakota) quickly served us our beverages and then proceeded to share the eveningâs dining specials. He gave us a few minutes to decide and then came back and took our order.I loved the atmosphere of the establishment. It was decorated in a very artistic manner, which made the environment very intimate. We were one of the first customers for the evening and so it was quiet; there was only one other couple. Other guests started to arrive and filtrate in and the place became and active and hopping place. The wait staff was quick to get each customer taken care of and served. Our order arrived and everything looked fresh and delicious!!! We wasted no time diving in. I had the shrimp linguine pasta and it was delightful. The pasta was cooked to perfect and the texture was just right. The white cream sauce was smooth and full of flavors, and the shrimp was deliciously cooked. Overall, my experience at The Bistro was top notch and Dakota did an amazing job serving us and providing us with a wonderful experience!

Aside from an incredibly good server, there's little to lure you back to this restaurant. Although its menu and prices seem to want to be a fine dining establishment, the atmosphere itself is strictly college beer joint -- blaring music, central noisy bar, people shout-talking to be heard. Definitely not a pleasant dining experience. Food itself might have risen above average had it not been served barely warm. The rotisserie chicken was cooked through but barely lukewarm, and the grilled asparagus was cold. Dining partner sent back a baked potato that was simply too cold to be edible, but the steak was apparently freshly grilled because it was the only thing served that was hot. Desert cheesecake was served with frozen strawberries (no excuse) and a too-strong chocolate drizzle that destroyed the taste of the cheesecake, which, albeit with a somewhat soggy graham cracker crust, wasn't too bad. Would not return.

For over 40 years, Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers has been serving up fresh, stone-baked pizzas to order in an eclectic, art-filled, and family-friendly environment. Locally owned and operated we provide a unique feel focused around great customer service,
A lively time, easy to bring young kids here because it is LOUD, so any time there is live music, it is even LOUDER. I love their spinach salad and the mushroom soup. Pizza and stromboli is their mainstay (their gluten free crust is soggy) and their selection of beer is unparalleled. Large booths accommodate eight easily.

Excellent food, attentive staff. We had 3 different people ask us a total of 6 times, during a routine lunch, if everything was ok. I hate to complain about something like this but it got a bit annoying. Also, a suggestion for servers, if the customerâs change for a twenty dollar bill is $5, bring me ones if you want a tip.

Traveling and touring the area, we found Smokey Pig BBQ through a google search for casual dining with great reviews. What a great find - casual dining at it's best! Excellent food, great prices and a casual country atmosphere we both enjoy. If in the area again, we'll be stopping for another visit. Hint: the vinegar slaw is oooh so good.

Quirky place. Ambiance makes it a place youâd want to take out of town guests to visit. Craft Beer - the pale ale is a little hoppy, there are 2 other choices. Food: Fish was âfishyâ tasting, batter was mealy, tarter sauce was nothing more than Mayo - Alice in Wonderland sandwich - a giant club and the fries were just right, hot and crispy. This is a happy place - hospitality shines.
