I personally like to belly up to the bar because of the magnificent Fox mural on the facing wall (it's a small masterpiece) behind a wide variety of fancy bottles of top shelf libations and good vinos. The last time I visited I started with a delicious glass of full-bodied Cabernet. The Wedge Salad followed and it was delish! I normally meet good friends there to chat while bartenders Ms. Joannie and Mr. Bob keeping up with customers in the most delightful, courteous and conscientious way always making sure customers are happy. Hands down, Mr. Bob and Ms. Joannie are thee best bartenders in Borrego Springs (no competition). Remember to take a good look at the Fox mural, order a glass of good cheer and have yourself some really good yum-yums! Cheers!

After spending awhile dry camping at Superstition Mountain to the south we wanted AC without the generator and water for showers. The showers here aren't free but the pool is nice. Easy access to Ocotillo Wells OHV park and you can ride to and from your campsite.

Stop in at Big Horn Bar and Grill and sit outside for one of the most beautiful views anywhere in Borrego Springs. We didn't eat here, but enjoyed a glass of wine on the rustic wood-floored balcony. There's an impressive espresso bar and a gift shop with some really tempting offerings. Even if you're not staying at the Palm Canyon RV Resort, this is worth a stopover for a relaxing drink and a hearty meal.Thank you for your kind review. We hope you will stop by Big Horn again soon and enjoy all that our resort has to offer!

At The Arches Restaurant, we share a deep appreciation of our collective role in the vibrant health of our environment and our guests. We partner with local artisans, organic farmers and sustainable fisheries to deliver authentic cuisine for any palate. T
We dined our first evening at the dated but pleasant Arches restaurant. Patti was a great waitress - very accommodating. The bread was good as was the coffee and sweet potato tots are just excellent. Our beef dip sandwiches were over-cooked, well done and quite dry even though we requested medium rare. So for the rest of our stay we ate elsewhere in town.

We went to Carlee's for lunch when we first arrived in Borrego Springs to see the historic 20-year bloom of spring flowers. The sign on the door was a bit off-putting, warning of long waits for food coming out of their small kitchen. The place was full of other tourists, but we were seated at a table fairly quickly. We ordered and chatted for a while, then were served their wonderful hamburgers! Yum!!Later that evening, after watching the sunset over the mountains with a glass of wine, we returned for dinner. The waiter recognized us & seated us immediately.Carlee's isn't fancy, but their food is very good.Servings are large.

We have eaten and/or had drinks here many times over the past few years, as we rent a house in Ram's Hill for a week every year. This year the entire area has been slammed with visitors to experience the "superbloom." Understandably, service in many places is not the fastest. March 16 we went for a drink, sat at the bar, and were alerted by the bartender (huge shout out to Dan) that patience would be required and service would be slow. Fine by us. Nonetheless, we had margaritas in our hands within 10 minutes (maybe less). The view is lovely, the locals interesting and informative, drinks well made. All good. Returning with friends for an early dinner a few days later, things were less fraught, but still busy. Nonetheless, our drink and food orders were taken promptly, water refilled regularly, food was very good and arrived in a timely manner and exactly as ordered (four burgers, all cooked differently, still all gotten right).

Fine steaks, seafood and chops. Pet friendly outdoor dinning. Great view of Borrego Valley. Full Bar. Join us for dinner from 5 pm - 8:30 pm Wednesday - Sunday .
Had my birthday dinner with 10 friends at the Coyote Steakhouse. When the staff found out it was a birthday celebration, they decorated our table with sprinkles and all kinds of birthday trinkets. Tony, our server, met all our needs with a smile and all 11 meals were delivered to the table at the same time. The food was delicious and we all had a great time from start to finish. We were impressed that our large group was so easily accommodated by the restaurant. Many thanks.Thank you for a wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear you had an enjoyable experience dining with us and we hope to see you and all your friends again real soon!

We went to Anza Borrego State Park for the superbloom and ate at Carlee's Place. Did so because everywhere else had long lines and a long wait. Thank goodness we got in to Carlee's. No real ambiance but very good food and good service. I had an Avocado BLT which was good. My wife had a Philadelphia cheese steak sandwich. She was raised in Philly and she said this was the best cheese steak sandwich she's ever had. So that's saying something very positive.

Kendallâs is the place to meet anyone who is anyone in BorregoSprings at breakfast time. We ate outside but inside is ok too! It may take a little longer to get breakfast as it is always crowded but the food is excellent and served with a smile!
