We had a very enjoyable evening here. It started good right away, with nice beer selection, and many value-priced glasses [and bottles] of wine. Then, some of the best 'simple white' restaurant bread we have had. Next he sausage and calamari 'shareable'. Great flavors! Enjoyed it immensely. For mains, I had Apple Cider Short Rib âSauerbratenâ, which was delicious, and had a nice touch of chutney to sweeten the occasional bite. Lady had salmon, which also thoroughly enjoyed. Good service, nice decor. Certainly recommended.

Live in the area and been by several times. Decided to stop for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. My wife had the omelette special and I had the eggs benedict. Both were very good and large portions. Homes fries took up half the plate and were very tasty. Service was fast, friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return.

The Gem and Keystone Brewpub's menu features special bounty produced from the rich soil along the Delaware River from our own private Shawnee Island Farm⢠(in season). Using local produce, all natural meats, PA farmstead cheeses and sustainable seafood, w
Knowing how busy this spot gets, we called an hour or so before popping in to reserve a table which was a good idea! My husband ordered himself a burger with their house-made bacon onion jam. The jam was delicious on some fries! I ordered the curried salmon special. The salmon was grilled (charred) to perfection. The creamy curry was perfectly spicy. Sadly, the Jasmine rice was either overcooked in one bite or under cooked in another. They do have their own brewed beers here, we tried one ofthe IPAs which was full bodied and hoppy with some citrus notes. It was very good and sharing a glass wasn't an issue.
It's a small cafe located next to a few local businesses.
As of the writing of this updated review, they have wifi, as well as a great selection of fresh made salads, soups, dips, ice cream, coffee, and pastries. Each made fresh in house or at their nearby farm stand. All delicious. As such, it's a pity that they're not open after six. Still, a great place to grab breakfast, lunch, and early dinner.

We had actually intended to stop elsewhere, but found our first choice packed. Glad our second choice was the Blairstown Inn. It isn't overly well lit on the outside (Which describes much of Blairstown), so look out for it. It's kind of a relaxed, popular family friendly restaurant where burgers and pub grub predominate, coupled with a full-service bar with a substantial beer selection. If you look carefully in the menu, they also have some nice choices beyond pub grub. The Hunter Duck was especially good. Service was very good and prices were reasonable. My only real criticism was the French Onion Soup. While it was good, the chef needs to keep in mind that the onions are supposed to be caramelized, not just clarified. They missed a proper flavor profile by maybe 10 minutes of cooking time.

Ellias is our favorite restaurant in NW NJ.His food is unlike anything else you will find in this area. His creativity, his passion and excellence show in each and every morsel that arrives at your table. True, some nights you might wait awhile for your food to arrive, but knowing that it is handcrafted exclusively by him makes the anticipation so sweet. Elias is truly a master of his craft. Go. Enjoy!

One of our favorite fly-in diners because their customers service is outstanding. They treat every patron with tremendous respect, and many of the locals by name ("Miss Caroline" etc.). Such a friendly bunch. Our Reuben sandwich with waffle fries was excellent. The burger was average, but the curly fries were perfectly cooked. The prices are very reasonable, and let us save our money to reward the great service with a larger tip. They now accept credit cards (probably have done so for a while) and I love the aircraft models hanging from the ceiling. Keep up the good work, crew!

This sandwich - on specials menu the day we visited - was awesome. Before you even bit into it the smoky aroma hits you. Great roasted pork. French dip also excellent, beef not overdone, au ju more than just broth from can. Soup had to send it back to be heated, and still it was not very tasty Service slow to start, but improved. Outstanding beer diversity.

This diner only gets business because of the notoriety from "Friday the 13th." We came to experience, but the service was horrendous. They jam as many people as they possible can into the restaurant with no respect for patrons. (I was sitting in a booth and people were constantly bumping into my elbows as they were waiting on a line inside since the restaurant sells t-shirts as a gimmick.) The food wasn't good and diner doesn't take charge cards. We're sorry that your experience was not to your expectations. What Friday the 13th did you visit? We are under new ownership and the only Friday the 13th we've managed was September 13, 2019, from our fans it was very successful. We now take ALL MAJOR credit cards and have made many update & renovations. We invite you to please join us again to see if we can change your mind.

Lovely atmosphere sitting outside on the covered porch. The service was great, the food was very good but overall I felt the price was a high for a wrap with no side. No pickle, no salad, no fries, no chips, nothing. We all came away with the same feeling. Maybe it is just when you order sandwiches and wraps!!
