Wonderful lunch. Prairie Smoke has a fantastic atmosphere. A staff is always friendly. Yummy BBQ! Located inside a shopping area. Great place to find t-shirts and other gifts.
I've been coming here for several years, since they opened. Maybe once every couple of months. I use their drive through. Excellent donuts. I really like their maple long johns and pigs in a blanket. I've been told that their jalapeno pigs in a blanket are "the bomb"; but I don't eat spicy foods. Drive thru service is speedy; and the people at the window are always very friendly.

We could have stopped across the street at a big Chain place for burgers but Cobb's sign caught our eye. The waitress was great ... very friendly and provided great service. The salad bar was fresh. The iced tea was fresh. The burgers were great! This is what Guy Fieri would call a "dive" ... but that is a complement! If you are looking for fine dining, don't stop ... If you are looking for good, home cooked food, stop in and enjoy lunch!
I came from for breakfast while staying in the area. When you walk in you are greeted by an extensive list of specials and asked to seat yourself. The tables and chairs are plastic, like outdoor fold away plastic chairs...not comfortable or inviting. The decor is a collection of baseball caps, some arcade machine, and tv's. Kind of an odd atmosphere. The menu consisted of a few unique items, like loaded hashbrowns of various varieties and lots of scrambles. I ordered a loaded hashbrown and it was ok. Kind of greasy and would have been much better if it was accompanied with eggs and toast...my husband ordered a scramble and it tasted better than my breakfast. The restaurant also makes their own bread so I was excited to try it, my breakfast didn't come with toast so I tried my husbands and I have to say it wasn't that good. The toast was in about six chunks and falling apart. They had cinnamon rolls to go that looked pretty enticing but I didn't try them. All in all I would not recommend this restaurant. I question the cleanliness, the food was pretty greasy, and the atmosphere was kind of strange.
