good for a reasonable price..Don't skimp on the portions.. We got good size portions when we went but friends wouldn't go with us as they had to stop and get a snack on the way home..that is the worst thing a restaurant can do is get skimpy in portion size..ours was tasty and would recommend it..hope they don't make me EAT my words.
Went for a fast dinner on a week night. They are known in the area for their buffet. It has something for everyone on the salad, dessert, and main buffets. I decided to order the 8 oz. pork chop special, and I wasn't disappointed. It rivaled one from a fine steakhouse. Perfectly cooked. It came with a big perfectly baked potato and a trip to the salad bar. All for under $10. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. There's lots of parking. It's just off I-24 on Hwy 68/80. Easy on and off. Eat where the locals eat. There's a big Mexican restaurant in the same building. I may try it next.

Stopped here to try Saturday Steak night, and we were happy we did. The steaks were delicious and service was fantastic! It was crowded but we only waited about 15 minutes. Rib eye and prime rib and a chopped steak were all ordered and delicious. Reasonable prices for these too!

I'm going to say this is my #1 restaurant in Marshall County. As amazing as the food is, the service was better. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Sweet tea, bluegill, baked potato, salad, banana split pie...all was delicious! New owner is as nice as they come and stayed out front the whole time, but stayed out of the way at the same time. Can't wait to go back and try some more!!

The Dinner Bell has been an institution for several decades near Kentucky Lake, specifically Jonathan Creek. Picnic tables and just setting with first one and another. In the left corner is a converted wood stove that has skillets and pans kept fresh and warm of the meat of the evening and always catfish and chicken and vegetables like many of us grew up with at Mother's and Grandparents. Friendly and home cooking. Desserts are always, 2 cobblers and banana pudding. Consistently fresh and a wonderful salad bar. A rare find in a busy world. Going back in time with Southern country cooking. One of our favorites. A regular stop during the months they are open from part of Spring to Autumn, please check times before going and also Thursday to Sunday times.

Tucked away at the back of a strip mall, this is a hidden gem and local favorite. They share quarters with a gift shop and a donut shop. I picked up a bag of their famous burgers on homemade buns; bought a leather bag at the gift shop; and picked up a dozen of the best assorted donuts in the world -I swear they really are. They have tables if you want to eat in Parcellâs. Start in Parcellâs. Place your order or call ahead. (They give you a device that lights up when your order is ready). While you are waiting, shop in the gift shop and buy donuts to go. Pick up your food to eat in or take with you. Their homemade desserts in Parcellâs are incredible too.

Well except for it being blazing hot inside overall was pretty good. Buffet was well stocked and food was good. Only item didnât care much for was the ribs, wasnât much for the BBQ flavor.

Although we go to Parcell's for other food items, the burgers are the absolute best around. Made to order they are delicious. There are several types of burgers on the menu like Mushroom & Swiss, Patty Melt, Jack Burger, Pizza burger and more. They also have deli style cold sandwiches, my favorite is the "Original" with turkey, ham, bacon, cheese, etc. They have a great selection of salads as well.

The Catfish Kitchen is truly one of a kind! Quaint small seating room overlooking Beautiful KY ponds. Decor matches the delightful hospitality. Small menu, the Fixinsâ (hush puppies, Cole slaw, and navy bean soup) are on the table when you sit down. The fried catfish is spot on, with a couple other choices of fried shrimp or chicken. The sides are just like Grandma makes them, fried green tomatoes, fried okra, potatoes. Call for reservation because it can fill up quickly, and closed on Monday.
