We stopped for lunch here last Saturday. We were not disappointed in their baked potatoes topped with chopped brisket. I could only eat about half of mine. Itâs an old fashioned meat market (gorgeous steaks, bacon, sausage, etc.), that also serves barbecue at very reasonable prices. We will be back.

The Hill Drive In has been around since 1952 and with good reason. They make great hamburgers. The restaurant is decorated in Coca-Cola memorabilia. I liked their work shirt "You are Never Over the Hill in Bellville."The western cheeseburger and tater tots that I had was delicious. The western cheeseburger had BBQ sauce, onions, pickles and cheese. The tater tots were good and not greasy, a perfect combinationMy wife and soon loved their hamburgers and french fries. The prices are very reasonable. The Hill Drive In is the best restaurant we have tried in Bellville so far. We would definitely come back

We stopped in at Yani's Steakhouse and--again--did not have Steak. We will eventually, but the Pasta Dishes are so good, we stuck with Pastas again. We started with the Soup of the Day--Corn Poblano, extremely flavorful. My son had the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, I had the Shrimp Fettuccine, and my wife had the Chicken in Tomato Sauce over Pasta.. All were very good with nice sauces The main courses come with a Melange of crisp steamed vegetables--Carrots, Zucchini, and Green Beans. And you get a trip to a nice Salad Bar with dinner. Good Service. Parking. The interior could use some updating or freshening, but, otherwise a very good experience.

My friends and I frequently eat here. Whether it's a sporting event, quick lunch, or live music this is the place to go in Bellville Tx. Family owned by local folks. You can't go wrong. The sides are to die for and there is a good selection of beer and soft drinks. Must try if visiting town.
We had dinner here and ordered a cheeseburger and an order of chicken tenders. Everything is made from scratch and it was so good. The chicken tenders were fresh made - not frozen - and the breading was light and so delicious. The coleslaw was great - the krinkle cut fries were also great. If you want a burger that tastes like it was cooked on the grill in your backyard - this is the place to get it! They also have cupcakes - and the owner won Cupcake Wars - so you know these cupcakes are amazing! The building is an old wooden, tin roofed place with wood floors, and decorated with antique tables and knick knacks. Such a cute place and great people running it. Stop in for a great burger and a cupcake! You won't regret it.
