Our first trip back to Denny's in years and we were anticipating a great breakfast.First the good points: Polite and friendly waitress who generally kept a good eye on our table in case we needed refills or anything else. Additionally, at least my spouse's dish was ample in size and more than anyone could generally possibly want.The eggs and waffles were cooked to perfectionThe not so Good: Limited assortment of condiments on the table until we asked for them. The meal is made to look ample by the oversized portion of grilled potatoes. The sausages were puny and the toast was so thin it was bearly able to accept any jam. The coffee was just bearly acceptable and at 2.99, this was ridiculous.Breakfast for two with tip came to $37 . I can do better for less than $20 at many other spots.

Visiting family in Belleville, I decided to take everybody to celebrate once again at the Piper Arms, remembering how much we had enjoyed our original and only previous experience there. Nor were we disappointed. The meals were as delectable as we recalled: good food, good service, and clean surroundings! The bill for 5 adults, 2 almost teens, and one 7-year old--along with taxes and tip--was about $225, a very reasonable amount, considering that each person had a full-sized adult meal and beverage. My spouse and I each had the prime rib special: it consisted of a large and thick slice of prime rib (we estimated about 20 oz., with a large Yorkshire pudding filled with gravy atop it, and a double portion of veggies (we're both on keto diets). Our two sons were envious, although they had the chicken and ribs combo plates, which were pretty large, plus fries. Believe me when I state that the Piper Arms will remain our "go to" spot for eating out in Belleville!

Stopped for lunch before heading back to Ottawa after visiting Belleville for a wedding. I had breakdowns was not quite ready to eat and had the shrimp appetizer which was very nice.Other family members had beef burger, quesadillas and chicken burger which they enjoyed.Nice atmosphere and good service

I actually enjoyed the chicken here a lot more than KFC -- definitely less greasy, and yet tender and moist. The one thing I was disappointed with though, was the taters. They tasted quite dry and bland on the inside. Texture was also grainy and mashed-potato-like. I was expecting something with a little more crunch/crispness to it. Decent, but not my kind of "potato" that I like.

We have been at the Dugout for lunches in the past but this is the first time we have been to there for dinner. We went on a Wednesday night and were amazed at how packed it was....a testament to how good the food and service is. The friendliness and good humour of the servers is one of the major things that stands out and makes you want to return. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. They have a good selection of beer and I defy anyone to try and take the first sip of wine without spilling...a very generous pour. The prices are very reasonable. All in all, there is nothing not to like.

Service was wonderful. A member of our family has a food allergy. The Manager came to our table for more information and assured us the meal would be prepared with this allergy in mind. Felt very welcomed and Taylor was great. There seemed to be more supervisors/staff on than I would have expected, as compared to other establishments nearby...but, we were well taken care of. Went here with friends for dinner recently. The place has a very quirky atmosphere. Food and service were very good. I had the rib special ($20) and the coconut shrimp appetizer. Both dishes were very good. Nice selection of beers on tap.

We went here as it has been years since we last visited. My burger was good. Nothing extraordinary but good.I wasn't too impressed with a $5.75 root beer and a $5.75 mineral water.That's ridiculous!!!Our server was great tho.As the title states, might be another few years before we come back...
