I ordered Chilean Snapper, crab fried rice, and water. My guest ordered crab cakes, cheesecake, and lobster bisque soup. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasted scrumptious. Service is impeccable. Reservations are recommended because they get crowed for dinner.

This New York style Deli is all itâs advertised to be. Great food, great service and unique movie/celebrity decor covering the walls. The menu is fun and incredibly extensive and challenges you to choose among many delicious items. You will never leave hungry as plates are generously filled. They perhaps make the best mimosas in town as well. Everything weâve ordered there has been delicious. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch.

Two of us stopped in for burgers. They are good, big and juicy. Sweet potato fries or regular fill the platter. Burgers are big and filling. Nicely done. I tried the Frito Pie Burger for the first time. I would get it again. Could not even make it to dessert. Still needs to figure out a bun and the wrap so it does not fall apart.

Bernie's is unique in serving great burgers in a fun atmosphere with great service but zero hassle. There are pre-designed burgers--but they will modify to your tastes--or you build your own. I had the Homeroom, minus the fried egg and my Missus had the Principal, minus the onions. We split an order of the hand-cut, green chile fries. Hungry as we were (we didn't get to lunch until nearly three) we unable to finish the burgers or the fries. We're already planning our next trip.

I had dinner with a girlfriend at Steak 48 Friday night. The place was crowded and loud, but that was expected. We had a 7:15 p.m. reservation. I love that most people come dressed very nice and it's a great place to see the beautiful people of Houston out and about. Unfortunately, some people do not know how to dress for a place as upscale and fabulous as this and I wish the restaurant would bar entry to anyone not well dressed. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good. The pork belly appetizer is probably the best I've ever had. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The cocktail and wine selection are awesome. This place in pricey, but the food and service make you feel good about the price tag.

For about 10 years, I have been going to Mezza for lunch about twice a month and the food is consistently excellent. I love the fried pita chips they bring when you are seated - but canât eat them anymore on my current diet. The lunch specials are large portions and a decent value. My favorite is the kefta beef kebab - usually as a salad, and sometimes as a wrap. The wrap comes with French fries, which are crispy and delicious. The chicken swarma is also very good. Service is usually attentive and fast, unless the place is full. Highly recommend Mezza. We loved our Power Lunch yesterday in this pretty restaurant! The lunch consisted of a starter, an entree, and dessert! The Lobster Bisque was awesome....maybe the best I have tasted! The house salad was very large. Beef Medallions were very good....a bit over cooked for rare, but very tender! Fried Shrimp were amazing! We took dessert âto goâ! Chocolate Cake and Carrot Cake weâre both wonderful! Our experience was delightful, partly due to our server Norma Jean! She was great!

The most romantic restaurant in Houston, hands down! You can go anywhere but if you are looking for the cut above then this place is it. Steve Joest in the most top-notch GM you will find in the restaurant arena. If you wanting anything special, do reach out to him directly!!!!! His expertise will surely have you feeling first class. Ask for Jason or Susan if you're looking to be treated like a Queen or King. They both are down-to-earth ,caring, and cultured. Wonderful steaks and great sides. Good selection of wines. Great bar at both locations. Although the Westheimer location has been open for decades I think I prefer the downtown restaurant. Food is great at both locales but downtown dining room seems more spacious.
