First established in 1917 as a summer resort destination, Bella Vista has evolved and redesigned itself over the succeeding years. Bella Vista became a retirement community in 1965, and, after much contention and a 2006 vote of its property owners, became an incorporated city. Following its official incorporation on January 1, 2007, the new city government took over the police department, fire department, streets, trash removal and other city functions, while the Property Owners Association (POA) retained control of the many amenities available to homeowners and their guests. Amenities include numerous parks, clubhouses with workout areas, swimming pools, seven golf courses, seven lakes with fishing and boat docks, a marina, swimming beach, putt putt golf courses and tennis courts, and extensive hiking and biking trails throughout its beautiful Ozark hills.

We have eaten here a number of times and picked up pizza to take home a few times. Week before last I went to pick up a pizza and when I got there I realized I had forgotten my wallet. I called my wife at home and she called the restaurant and gave them a credit card to pay for the pizza. I appreciated both my wife and the girl at the counter for the help. The pizza and Greek salad were both very good and we both enjoyed them.

This is a great place for breakfast. Such a friendly staff and the food is delicious! Not a huge menu, cooked to order and great quality. And they will adjust anything you choose to meet what you would like.Stop by - you won't be disappointed.

Lovely evening at Lakepoint - Mngr Kirk provided a warm welcome and head waiter Chris, (formerly from Seattle and his experience on Viking River cruises in Europe) was on point with his serving delicious crab cakes and fried crispy mushrooms w/Asian glaze followed by pear/goats cheese walnut salad & perfectly cooked lamb loll-pops topped off by a creme brulee. Chef Jerry James has found the perfect balance of casual and Southern inspired fair - well done!

I eat at the BV Bar & Grill fairly often since I live nearby. For lunch, I almost always get the Pick 2 (for $7) or Pick 3 (for $10). It consists of choices of soup, salad, and half sandwich. The soups are variable, so you need to ask the server. The soups vary in quality, but the salad and sandwich choices are always good. I particularly like the Caesar Kale salad which is never over-saturated with salad dressing as it is in many restaurants. Both the green tomato BLT and the turkey with cheese and apple chutney are particularly good. They donât skimp on meat or bacon and everything is fresh cooked and prepared. Itâs a bargain at $7!

Bubbas doesn't look like much on the outside and can be a bit difficult to see from the highway, but what it lacks in appearance it makes up for in flavor.. Located behind a realty company and in front of a new dollar tree store, Bubbas can be spotted from the main stoplight across the way that serves the Walmart Superstore near the community of Bella Vista, AR, but on the Missouri side. They serve two varieties of smoky/flavorful ribs with hot or mild sauce on the side. They also have very tasty beef brisket that has been slow smoked, as well as several other smoked meats. They are reasonably priced and have both a small dining area and a drive up window. Definitely worth a try.Thank you for your time and review. Hope you come back soon.

This is our very favorite place to eat in Bella Vista! Everything is homemade and delicious. Daily specials rotate and all are of high quality. Rich, the owner and chef is so friendly and accomplished and the menu items are great. The wait staff are also of the highest quality. Be sure not to miss the homemade rolls too! The chicken and dumplings and chicken fried steak are to die for! We recommend and will return often.

Food good. Service excellent. Prices reasonable to high for what us provided. HoweverââIt is a cold winter day outside with cool inside but the dress code requires female servers to wear skimpy short shorts. The male bar tender may wear jeans. Hence this is not only exploitation nearing abuse but also discrimination. My wife and I just had our last visit to JJs.

We were there Friday before last and had a great fried catfish meal. I actually had catfish and shrimp and my wife had catfish and sweet potato fries. The food was hot and delicious as it always is and the Shiner Bock beer was cold and refreshing. If you are in Bella Vista on a Friday head to Papa's Mikes for his catfish meals. You can't beat the food or the price, a meal for 2 with small pitcher of beer for under $30.

Finished Bella Vista Arts Crafts Festival and wanted lunch. Both of us enjoyed our lunch. I had grilled cheese sandwich, and husband cook sandwich. Service was prompt. French Fries excellent. Also nice selection of desserts. Would definitely recommend if visiting Bella Vista

We stopped in to Gusanoâs while traveling through Bella Vista at the request of our children who wanted pizza. They were in for a treat when we ordered a Chicago style pepperoni with extra cheese pie!! Delicious pizza, perfected by their wonderfully fresh sauce!! The Greek salad was also generous in size and chock full of olives, onions, & cheese. What a delightful little restaurant!!
