Johnny Rockets brags about serving the classical american hamburger, but come on. This is by far the worst burger ever - a bit of minced meat covered with a slice of dry cheese between two cold buns. Served without any finesse on a cold plate - this was a major disappointment. The service was friendly, but the food needs to be good as well, and this was just terrible.

Six PM on Saturday is awfully early to have that kind of mantra. Finally we were served steak. The prices are high for Staten Island. The house wine is $12 a glass. The servers were pleasant and competent and the food good. With so many other better restaurants available on the island (even close to the ferry), I wonât return.thank you very much for giving Ruddy & Dean a chance . We Weren't out of anything we took the scallops off the menu because they cost more than 20 per pound so we couldnt offer that dish at an affordable price. We also added several specials to our menu.As a matter of fact 1 of your guests ordered (pierogies). As far a insinuating that the steaks took a long time that wasnt the case you took an awful long time to order I know this because I was one of the friendly waiters that evening . Our mantra is a 2 part- treat customers the way We want to be treated and second is from and old retailer from down town manhattan that would say on his commercials an" educated consumer is our best customer!!" . That's why some guests will think we are expensive and others will say it's worth every penny. Again we sincerely thank you for giving us a chance. All the best

Great food!!
Bayou offers an incredible 4 course menu during the week which we found to be outstanding in quality and value. Our server, Roni, was a pleasure and professional. He anticipated our needs and made the evening joyful. The food was outstanding and each course was plentiful. I will definitely return for more!

I personally have experienced consistently NO SERVICE unless I've been lucky enough to get a woman called, Drew, to wait on our table. Sadly, in my opinion, this establishment has been poorly run since it first opened in Bayonne. (Yes I was one of the first to go & have gone dozens of times since.) I have heard so many patrons complain and have seen them get up and leave.... The food has been hit or miss. (Too bad because I do like the Redrock shrimp.) I keep getting roped into going to this LongHorn because of my out-of-town friends who want steak when they come visit me in Bayonne. I wish this LongHorn would get their act together.

Hubby and I came here late night, about 11pm on a Saturday. The waitress could have been better but the food was delicious! We started with the onions rings, which were a serving in like a cup/bowl. Small but perfect. They were also 1/2 the price of most places. Definitely yummy. I ordered The Bacon Cheeseburger Panini and hubby got Chicken Avocado Panini. Both were delicious. However a bit small. It was perfect for me because I was able to actually finish but hubby would have liked a little more. They came with some fries and 2 onion rings. Definitely a place I'd go back while visiting.

This establishment has stood the test of time. Having been open for decades they still pack the place every weekend. Expect to wait on the weekend, but the bar area is great waiting place. An extensive beer and tequila list with their full bar. Friendly bartenders and almost always a great crowd. The bar area is interestingly decorated. Take the time to notice all of the period and quirky pieces. Once you get to your table the place is decorated in a great Tex Mex atmosphere. We have visited several times over the years with different friends and family. I have never heard a bad word about anything anyone has ever ordered. On this particular visit I enjoyed the baby back ribs. Cooked to perfection on this visit in my opinion. We shared and enjoyed some beers from the list both at the bar and our table. A small parking lot behind the restaurant, but usually ample street parking. We will surely be back.

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
Very rarely stop in but decided on a cold beer and burger. Got there had some fun catching up with friends. Sat at the bar (Train was bar tender) got cold beer but decided on chicken stir fry and say a new drink (Kettle One Cucumber/Mint Vodka with club soda and garnished with fresh cucumber slices and mint) OMG! Delicious!!! No added sugar so it tasted like spa water (great summer drink)! The drink was so spa pretty it instantly had everyone asking and chatting and that is how i met so many nice people at the bar! Train was a great server and had the best personality for the people at the bar last night! I will be back to meet those that i met last night, have the cucumber/mint drink and also try the new Kettle One pink grapefruit. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed our new (limited time only) drink, Cucumber & Mint, and Trent's service! Thanks for the taking the time to let us know, and we look forward to serving you again soon. - Ag

Had dinner with my wife after visiting family in town. I had never eaten here before but my wife was familiar from when she was young. We started with wings, soup and potato pancakes. The wings were just the right amount of spicy and NOT breaded (that's a good thing) and the french onion soup was excellent not too salty and good onion flavor. The pancakes were crispy on the outside and nice and flaky on the inside. All were great. For dinner I had the NY shell (NY strip) steak and it was PHENOMENAL!!!!! The steak came with house made steak sauce which had great flavor and a hint of pepper. My wife ordered the beef tips appetizer and the sauce was a bit too salty and overpowered the taste of the meat. Other than that everything was great. Melissa was our server and she and the busboys were attentive without being intrusive. Very good restaurant and I definitely recommend.

Loved it here, great happy hour (6 pints of Coors for $16!!!) Frequented mainly by locals including some real characters.Grabbed some drinks on the way back to the ferry. You are missing out if you get straight back on the Ferry, Staten Island is cool.

Brand new and innovative
Great deal especially for the portion sizes. Can add unlimited wine, sangria or beer for an extra $10 but is limited to a 90 minute seating. Service was a little slow for my liking the night we went, as we opted to sit outside, which is more enjoyable and much quieter but was too warm this evening. I dropped the review down to an average on (2) factors. Food was good, just no wow factor, and I think there were a total of 9 fans. 6 had no blades, and one of the 3 oscillating fans was not working either. To me, this is unacceptable when your offering outdoor seating. Would definitely return. Sit indoors if it is extremely warm. On a cool night, I would choose outdoor seating.
