It was late and we wanted something lighter so we opted for salads with shrimp and mine with chicken. It was a specialty salad and it was very good though there was a little too much dressing which made the salad a little soggy near the end. Lots of people so it must be a popular place with locals. Very casual. Excellent service. Good place to stop for a casual meal.

Our usual stop going though Glen. First we were surprised to see one car in the parking lot and thought maybe closed. But they were open. Seated right away. 3 wait staff and three families! Drinks were quick. The menu as been downsized and I mean downsized. Many old options gone. I felt very limited. Steak and cheeses and BLAT meals ordered. Meals good, waiter tad slow for me, but overall good visit. Now revisiting maybe.

Even on a busy Saturday night, during peak season, at six PM the staff quickly arranged to accommodate our party of seven. The location was perfect for the itinerary of our trip. All of the staff that we interacted with were wonderful and kind. The food was delicious, as were the drinks, and very reasonably priced too. The kids menu was fantastic with many options including lots of fruits and veggies. We were so happy that we chose this restaurant and found a coupon in a New Hampshire restaurant guide.

Great sandwiches and wraps and much foodie stuff in this small place. Don't let the humble place fool you - creations are great and made to your order. The day we were there several people came in and the chef and cashier (same person) managed with courtesy and expedience - although a small wait is a joy looking around the shop. Should be a staple for a sandwich stop when in the area!Thank you for your kind review! I hope you can come back and visit next time your in the area.Chef Caryn

My husband and I ate there recently on a Friday night for the seafood fest. The service was nicely paced. The food was delicious. Price was on the high side but you get what you pay for. We would return if in the area. One note on the service: It was nicely paced but bordered on slow. We both ordered another glass of wine when our entrees arrived. The server left and then returned in a bit to tell us that we might want to consider just ordering a bottle of wine instead of the glasses because the price wasn't much different and if we didn't drink it all, we could take it with us. She disappeared again. By the time she came back with the bottle of wine, we were done eating and didn't want the wine. So she was a little too slow.Thank you for taking the time to review. I am pleased that you enjoyed your dining experience and the Friday Night Seafood Fest. I am very sorry for the slow service. We provide ourselves in providing excellent service to our guests and I am sorry if this did not occur. I can assure you this was isolated, and I have forwarded this to our team. Chaos. Arrived and thought wew were next in line for table but in fact not all staff were working to same system... WiFi password declined to us as if we were an inconvenience. Pizza OK if a little heavy. Smoke alarm went off which seemed routine occurrence by the reactions of staff. Coleslaw was lovely. Waitress/manager didn't know much about the specials which were unpriced. One wonders if any of this crew have ever run a restaurant. I am sorry you thought you were next in line for a seat, when maybe this was not the case. Depending on the size of the party sometimes a party is moved ahead of someone who arrived first. I do apologize if you were upset by this, however, I was here on the night in question and wish you would have spoken to me about this. Regarding our WIFI password, I am sorry if you felt like an inconvenience, but we do not have a public WIFI, the only one we have is used solely for our credit card processing. As for the smoke alarm going off, this is most certainly not a common occurrence and the reason that our staff was not upset was because the kitchen knew what caused this and it was nothing to worry about, I am certainly sorry this happened while you were here, but I do not think it is fair of you to suggest that it happens all the time. Again, not sure what you meant by the waitress/Manager didn't know much about the specials. We all know very well what the specials are and should have been able to inform you. I will speak to my staff and make sure everyone is well aware of what they are and the price of them. Once we reprint the menus (this fall) all of these items will be on the menu and priced. So to answer your question, yes we have run a restaurant before and feel that we do it very well. I am sorry you do not agree.

We were staying at the New England Inn and Lodge and Tuckerman‘s was a walk away so we decided to give it a try. We were seated promptly in a booth and our phenomenal waitress Niki came right over to take our drink order. Niki was the most pleasant and attentive waitress we have ever encountered anywhere. We ordered the potato skins for an appetizer based on Niki’s recommendation. Large portion of nicely thin hand cut potato covered in bacon bits, cheddar cheese and scallions. Needless to say after a day canoeing on the Saco those disappeared quick. The menu is quite extensive from sandwiches, burgers, pizza and entrees I could not decide. I asked Niki what she recommended and once again it was on point. I ordered the Short Ribs Marsala, and my husband ordered the mountain man meatloaf. The short ribs were tender and had so much flavor, accompanied by a cheese filled pasta. I let my husband try some and he already decided that we are going back tomorrow to get the ribs for himself. We took home doggie bags as the portions were large. There are so many choices in North Conway put this as a must try on your next trip. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Tuckerman’s and Niki for giving us a perfect dinner. We will be back.

Enjoyed dinner here while visiting New Hampshire for the leaf change. The restaurant is located in a small town in the White Mountain area. We made a very convenient reservation by booking on line. Seating was interesting informing us that if we booked before 7:30 pm we would only be allowed to stay at the table for two hours. Our reservation was early, 5:15 pm, as availability was limited. We had two appetizers, wine, cocktails, and entrees. Our food was delicious and creative, the staff was friendly and professional. The wine list was short but the selections were very good, and the cocktail was well crafted. Our table was waiting for us and seating was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant.
