Chef Bill Andrews (remember Leon's on the Westside or Leon's on Broadway, Providence, RI. from the 80's and 90's?), is back! He has opened Leon's Café & Catering in Barrington, RI, serving the "on-the-go" community with prepared foods to take or dine-in,
Leon's is one of those rare places that can actually stand by the claim that everything (except the rye bread) is made right there! The sandwiches and soups are great, but this is one place where the sides are delicious as well.

Went to Square Peg after this restaurant was recommenced to us by many friends. We took our four kids for lunch on September 8th. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and we were really looking forward to it. Our bad experience started with the hostess. She was unwelcoming and mostly silent. I was confused why the restaurant even had her there as she said virtually nothing to us. Six people just walked into your restaurant and are standing in front of you waiting for a table and not even a âhello, how are you doing today?â came from her mouth. The waitress who came to our table first was pleasant enough. Took our drink order and brought out some fried pickles. We ordered our entrees and were mostly happy at that point. But then our food never arrived. And the waitress never checked on us for drink refills or to provide any updates on our food. It was like the twilight zone. My kids were behaving really well and I finally had to walk them down the street as they were getting anxious and were hungry. Three separate walks later and over 60 minutes of wait time and still no food or updates. Finally my wife and I both went up to the register near the kitchen to inquire about our food and was told it would not be that much longer. At that point the kids were not interested in sitting down and we were past hungry, more upset at this point. It would have been a mildly better experience had the waitress checked on us once in an hour, but that didnât happen. We paid for what drinks and food we consumed and politely left the restaurant. I canât imagine that this place will stay in business as anything more than a bar with experiences like this one. Itâs too bad as itâs a pretty neat place in a cool location. I hope the owners are made aware of their service issues so they can improve. We, however, wonât be going back.

The prices are high not only for the area but also for what you are getting. Steak cuts are poor and burgers are average for more money than average. Menu is limited and poorly organized.Service is somewhere between adequate and poor. Out door padio seats are more uncomfortable than most. Area is nice but actual views from the resturant are dry docked boats and parking lot. Overall, hard on the wallet and left with the feeling its just not worth ever coming back to.In closing, I feel like I paid for something special but just didnt get it.

SEE YOU IN THE SPRING OF 2020! Open in the summer only; relax while listening to the sounds of the boats drifting out to sea and enjoying a cold beer, clam cakes, chowder, fish & chips, and whole belly clams! Make our seasonal clam shack, located along th
We were hear on a Sunday afternoon and had lobster rolls and sharing some friend clams. The lobster rolls came either with butter or mayo. Our group had both and each like the way the mayo was light and butter was presented on the side. The whole belly clams were hot and flavorful. There were plenty of tables as well as parking, even if you have to go around the corner from where the tables are located next to the water. Unfortunately, there are only port o potties at the location.Hi Kim. Thank you for leaving this review. Glad to hear you enjoyed your lobster rolls and whole belly clams. Its what we are known for! Hope to see you again soon.

We have always enjoyed the warm, friendly atmosphere and great food well-presented at Metacom Kitchen. We were not disappointed in any way in our visit last Saturday. We shared two wonderful appetizers, a spicy cauliflower and a grilled octopus. Then for dinner an absolutely sensational lamb pasta and a sea scallops special. All in all, a lovely meal and bottle of red wine that made us think, "why did we let so many months go by since our last visit?".

Pretty much one of the few restaurants where most of the people from Barrington hang at. So if youâre from here, youâll prob run into someone you know.Got a dozen oysters along with a bottle of red wine. Oysters were alright, slightly gritty. Also got the salmon which was pretty good, although not worth 26$ for that tiny piece. Service was average though they allowed us to stay late. Overall good experience, slightly overpriced though.

A small venue with very good food. Our 3 course meals were delicious and served perfectly. We had a small wait for our food to be served but itâs worth it.They do not take reservations so it pays to check on their hours of operations so you are not appointed. Worth the trip!

My husband and I try to have dinner at Table every couple of months. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere cozy. Claude and Susan are wonderful hosts, and we always feel well taken care of. I would recommend it to anyone.

We went to the recently opened Revival Restaurant on Main Street in East Greenwich and had an amazing meal! Everything - soup, salad, main dishes, desserts & drinks were beyond delicious, and our server, Karen, was super friendly & knowledgeable and provided an awesome dining experience! Three of the four of us are eating plant-based diets but were able to find great menu selections. This will definitely become a regular dining experience!
