We got bagel, egg, and sausage/bacon breakfast sandwiches (bacon for me and the sausage fro my wife). Iced mocha coffee was pretty good and my wife liked here smoothie. I'd drop by again. The inside is small (a former bank branch) but has a nice little library/reading area. Had we had more time, we might have tried it.

Athena's changed hands last year and, sadly, the quality is just not the same :-( Have frequented Athena's for years for breakfast but had to find a new spot to enjoy. Hashbrown potatoes had zero taste...seemed like a boiled potato cut into slice. No sale/pepper and didn't appear to have been pan fried at all. Cheese omelet used to ooze with cheese and have cheese sprinkled over the top. Not any more. Very sad that the new ownership has chosen to cut corners as Athena's really had a good thing going.

Based on family recommendations, we dined with friends to celebrate their engagement. Jillian, an affable and attentive server, was trained well. Loved the warm, patriotic barn decor. Beyond that, oh, boy. My husband's trilogy steak (ribeye, filet and strip) was ordered medium rate, yet served very rare. Same issue with my Du Boeuf 5 oz medallions. Chilly is what I would say the center was. OK. This happens. The DuBoeuf sauce was far too salty, and I can take salt. The drinks- I could barely taste the vodka in my vodka and tonic, not to mention the lack of kick in martinis. What happened? Was it an all together off night? For a nearly $500 bill in a upper middle class SUBURB nonetheless, where is the excellence?

Been going to cabin club for years . Known for there great steaks, they never disappoint . Love sitting at the bar for a martini and then entertain friends or family for a wonderful dinner. One of the better restaurants in Cleveland .

What a find . After a round of golf we stopped at this really hip and comfortable restaurant . Nice setting overlooking the golf course with great food . The owner makes her rounds and is very receptive and makes sure the guests are taken care of. Canât wait to return .

Enjoyed an evening on the patio in mid-October for the Lobster Bake. They did a fabulous job. I don't know what was better, the food or the beautiful October weather. The lobster was fresh and succulent. The clams were steamed to perfection with just the right seasoning. It was crowded so, service was a tad slow. The food made up for the wait. Great night. Would do again. Ohhhh did I mention the karaoke??? Come ready to sing for great entertainment.Thank you for your kind review! Very pleased to hear you had a wonderful time! My staff and I thank you! We had reservations for Father's Day. Upon arrival we were directed to a table literally in front of the kitchen. We spent the entire time with serving staff carrying food around and sometimes over us. The kitchen must have had a major meltdown as it took over 1 1/2 hours for us to get our food and then it came out one dish at a time. The server was extremely nice and apologized several times. The "manager" stood around doing nothing, not once did he apologize for the slow service. A very disappointing experience.

This restaurant almost seems too nice for downtown Avon Lake. Itâs a small cozy place with brick arched doorways and cloth tablecloths. The atmosphere, food, and service were all great when our party of four visited on an August evening. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they had. Two of us got the chicken parm, and were amazed at how large it was and how much leftovers we had! The menu included pizza, a variety of pasta dishes, as well as other Italian favorites including veal Marsala, chicken piccatino or scarpariello, seafood, and steaks, chops, and lamb. The warm mushroom salad with sauteed mushrooms, cranberries and goat cheese sounded especially interesting. May have to get back here sometime.

a comfortable place, but we arrived near a "shift change" and was told a few times our waitress would be with us (was given drinks etc while waiting). I had a walleye dinner that was just "average". My daughter had the salmon which looked pretty good. I would still try it again
