We visited the French Market Grille on June 18, 2019 for lunch. We all had the lunch specials, Jambalaya, Fried Shrimp, Rice and Beans. All entrees came with fresh salad, delicious rolls, and unlimited sweet tea.Our waitress was Nadine, attentive, professional and great personality. She actually looked us in the eyes and waited until we replied to our requests! We have visited some establishments where they rush away without listening to our orders and requests!Oh, I had the she crab soup; absolutely divine taste. This restaurant could shame some Charleston resturants. The decor and ambience was very pleasant.Next time we are in Augusta, we will definitely dine there.

Our approach to dining is to provide a totally unique, high quality experience with fresh breads, home baked desserts, and great tasting, chef prepared dishes at casual dining prices.
We stopped here to have dessert and coffee. Boy were we disappointed. The cakes look good and are Ginormous but the quality leaves much to be desired. We ordered a coffee and we got cafeteria style - very yucky quality coffee with no real creamer just packets of the rubbish powdery creamer! Yuck! We would not go back! Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We're sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience with us. We pride ourselves on the food we serve, so it's disheartening to know that it did not meet your standards. We hope you are willing to give us another shot, so we have the opportunity to redeem ourselves in your eyes!

Craft & Vine is an upscale cocktail bar and eatery politely tucked away on Broad Street in downtown Augusta. It's the newest addition to the Frog Hollow Hospitality Group. Featuring old wood with metal modern mix. Low lights bouncing off art deco and fabr
It is nice to be greeted by a friendly staff, and then to be seated where you are most comfortable. The drink selection is great! The bartenders work hard at making truly enjoyable cocktails, and the wait staff went out of their way to be nice, thoughtful, and observant. I would recommend them for drinks and tapas above just about any other restaurant in Augusta.

Our son and daughter-in-law, now locals in the Augusta area, took my husband and I out to have dinner here just over a week ago. We loved the great, relaxed atmosphere, and the friendliness of the staff. Our waitress, Sharina, was fantastic! We wanted to invite her to sit down and join us, we enjoyed her so much. We all enjoyed our meals. Being from here in New Mexico, I was already in need of some tacos, and this place delivered! I ordered the Tempura Tacos along with the Smoked Gouda Nachos, that we all shared. Both were delicious! We will very definitely be back any time we're back in Augusta!

Went by Wednesday to pickup to pickup 2 $7 Bang bang shrimp.. A little disappointing, found out later you do not get bread anymore unless you ask and the shrimp unfortunately just slumped altogether probably from sitting already made for Wednesday nights. Most of the time it is good though. You kinda get forgot in the pickup zone because of their wait list..

Having travelled from London, and spent 1 night in Atlanta, our 2nd night of the holiday was in Augusta. We were tired and wanted some simple comfort food - albeit it of good quality - and a relaxed atmosphere. Our hotel (The Hilton Partridge Inn Hotel) recommended it. We were not disappointed. On arrival on a Thursday night at 7pm we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated but that was fine. We got a beer from the bar and took in the atmosphere whilst watching the baseball game on TV (and, of course, not understanding it but it was the Atlanta team). I had the Blue Burger and the "blue" was certainly hotter/spicier than you get in the UK but good for that. My wife had a chicken dish which she loved. The beer was great (IPA) and the red wine OK (Californian) although they had no Merlot. The atmosphere was noisy but fun; the service was attentive and friendly; the place obviously very popular with a wide range of people. Definitely better than your average bar and grill! We would go back again and felt very comfortable in shorts and tee shirts whilst having a burger and a beer and just enjoying the surroundings whilst a little tired. The bill for 2 of us was around $35

Abel Brown is a southern kitchen & oyster bar nestled in Surrey Center in Augusta, Ga. The name, much like our menu, is a nod to and celebration of our blended cultural roots. Authentic, yet refined, our ingredient-driven dishes are prepared and served wi
My wife and I visited last night and the overall experience was so wonderful. Victoria was our server (again) and she is perfect. Sheâs knowledgeable, funny, but also doesnât constantly bother you, she just serves well. The food is always delicious and the presentation keeps getting better. The charcuterie board is a must as are some oysters. We tried Rockefeller and broiled this time. The salmon dish was spectacular as were the scallops. It is our favorite date spot in town!

Located in Historic Downtown Augusta, Frog Hollow Tavern serves regional cuisine from locally sourced farms. The bar barrel ages craft cocktails and also has a wide selection of wines both by the glass and bottle.
I rarely give 5 Stars but this dinner was incredible! We were in Augusta for a short trip celebrating our six year anniversary. We made reservations which is a Must!! We had a short wait before getting seated so we ordered drinks from the bar! No seating at bar unless you are eating dinner. We sat in Rebecca's section and she was phenomenal!! She took the time to explain how the food was prepped and answered all questions. My husband had the "pork chop" and I had the "redfish". That was the BEST pork chop EVER!! The redfish was the first time for me. Again, just incredible! Being in the restaurant business for 28 years and getting an amazing meal like this, definitely braggin rights. A must go if you are in the area.

You'll Love Our Food, And What It Accomplishes. At Edgar's Grille, we offer New American cuisine with a Southern flair. We feature locally sourced ingredients and are farm-to-table certified by Augusta Locally Grown. Outdoor dining is available year-round
Seventeen of us visited Edgar's on a Wednesday evening around 6pm. The place was close to empty. We found the place to be very attractive and the servers welcoming. We were immediately informed it was half price night on wine by the glass. That's great news. The menu offered a nice selection of starters but only six entrees. If you view the menu online you will see quite a variety of entrees. Our table choices covered the offerings so I had a chance to look at all entrees. First, the portions are large. The diner across from me ordered the 14 oz. New York strip steak and it was huge and perfectly cooked to his request. His spouse had chicken and again, a large portion and juicy. I had the seafood grits. It came is a large bowl and was loaded with a variety of shell fish. Excellent. Another diner had the sea scallops and they were very large and perfectly cooked. Also the appetizer portions are large enough to split. I would have given Edgar's a five if there were more entree options.
